Bottle from SH Jones, Bicester, 29-09-07 Pours dark amber with white head. Some dark fruits gently waft in the aroma which is mainly sweet malts. Tastes fruity, but darker fruits, some dried plums maybe and plenty of soft caramel, finishes with hoppy bitterness.

Bottled. A dark brown/ruby coloured beer with a fast disappearing off-white coloured head. The aroma is fruity and malty. Alcohol notes come through together with raisins. The taste is fruity and malty also. Very smooth and mellow, tasting stronger than it is. Nice.

Pretty light brown color with lasting head. My nose picks up some alcohol and fresh aromas. Nice easy drinking and not stuffy at all like some ales. I needed something to cheer me up and Old Hooky worked! =)
