May 9, 2008 50cL bottle, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron! Pours a bright, clear orange-amber color; mostly headless, with a touch of oiliness and some slight bubbles at the perimeter. Fruity, sugary aroma; a touch sticky and medicinal and flabby. Medium mouthfeel: lightly carbonated; sticky malts and red fruits and sugar; not exceptionally complex, pretty sticky, and some cardboard / toasty malt notes. Medium finish, showing bitterness and stale malts.

Oct 10, 2006 (0,5l bottle) Pours with a huge white head. Looks strangly close to a dunkelweiss! Great aroma. Grapefruit, rhubarb, toffee. Taste a bit... old? Fruity but dusty. A beer of high quality, but not really in my f(l)avour.

Jul 6, 2008 Pours a nice clear ruby/brown color with a bit of a white head. A little malt on the nose, but not much. A little bitter on the first taste, but smooths right out although it’s a little bitter on the back end as well. Not bad, not great. Pretty decent ESB.

Jun 8, 2008 Pours a golden reddish color. Small head dissipated quickly. Aroma is very faint, fruity and a bit tart. Flavor is again very fruity and tart, with some sweet honey notes in the finish. Medium bodied and fruity from start to end. This is a nice tradition ale and very fruity for the style, so good for summer

Jul 7, 2009 Updated: Jul 8, 2009From Libations. Poured out a rocky white head above a body of clear copper; appearance was the best thing about this beer. Aroma was faint, maybe some malt? Taste was okay and just okay, thankfully not overly sweet. Finished a little less sweet and mouth was decent. A ho-hum beer.

Dec 16, 2007 Bottle. This is a dark, hazy amber beer with a thick and firm beige head. Its aromas are quite dusty with sweet caramel and butterscotch. Unfortunately these aromas do not translate into flavours. They are predominantly grassy and resinous instead. Quite thick on the palate and an average bitter finish ends the beer. I was somewhat disappointed with this one.

Apr 8, 2007 Amber with off white head. Malty caramel with fruity tones. Ok body with overall moderate taste. Pleasant slight bitter end. Simple but quite drinkable!
