Twelve Days is a dark brown strong beer brewed for Christmas. A finely balanced ale, lightly hopped with a strong malt and nutty flavor. The strength gives the beer a smooth lingering aftertaste. A definite ale to savour.

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Deep mahogany coloured body with an initially huge beige head that stayed for a while leaving fragile lacework behind. Malt-fruity aroma, mid-sweet and mid-dry. Nicely roasted malty taste of nuts and caramel. Dark fruits beneath. Bittersweet ending with a pleasant touch of resin. Fine bodied. A likable malty beer enjoyed on a Saturday eve at home in Tromsø 04.01.2014.

Poured a nice dark brown with a dense off white head. Aroma was sweet, spicy with light wood and nuts. The palate was soft and it seemed to embrace the tongue. The flavour is quite sweet with notes of caramel and fruitcake with a dry bitter roasted malt finish. This is the first Christmas beer I have had that is light bodied enough to work in Australian summer conditions yet still have a respectable amount of flavour.
