Twelve Days is a dark brown strong beer brewed for Christmas. A finely balanced ale, lightly hopped with a strong malt and nutty flavor. The strength gives the beer a smooth lingering aftertaste. A definite ale to savour.

Bottle @ Studenterbaren, Århus. Pours brown with a fading offwhite head. Aroma of malt, coffee, licorice, spice. Flavor is malt, light coffee notes, licorice, wood, light fruity, spice. Medium body, soft carbonation, light bitter finish. 161113

Smuk rødbrun klar farve med cremefarvet top. Skummet holder ikke længe. Duften er diskret med ristet malt, lakrids og svedsker. Smagen har de samme elementer oven på en let sødlig bund og fin bitterhed. Rigtig fin ballance ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown with a hint of red. Clear. Not much head. Aroma of dark toffee. Still refreshing and well balanced. A decent attempt of a Yule ale from the UK.

BB 06Feb14. Poured a mahogany red brown colour with a thin light tan bubbly head that diminished quickly to a line of bubbles. Poor lacing. Low carbonation. Aroma delightfully of chocolate but with under-lying alcohol. Taste of malt sweetness followed by a nice mild tasty hops bitterness that was not over-bearing. Medium body. Smooth finish. Quite OK.

Tummy bug brown, with no mentionable head. I had it too cold, so there isn’t much I can say about the aroma. Flavour is woody, with plenty of alcohol, actually quite interesting, with a hoppy bitterness that lingers for a long time in the mouth. Medium bodied, it has plenty of carbonation. Must be consumed at a proper temperature, much higher than straight from the fridge.

Bottle. Dark brown/ruby. Frothy head that dissipates quickly to a thin white covering. Mid level lacing. Muted, but enjoyable aromas of chocolate malt. Nice malt flavour up front with a long smooth mouthfeel filled with chocolate and a touch of coffee. A complex hop bitterness tempers any sweetness in the mid palate, begging you to take the next sip. Perfect carbonation allowing a delicious mouthfeel. I love this style. Subtle and so typically understated English, but still full of wonderful flavour.

Brown with short lived head. Choc And caramel malt, raisins and nuts aroma. Sweetness with an underlying bitterness. Surprisingly prickly carbonation given no head.

Dark brown, cola coloured pour with very little head, just a little "slick" on top. Aroma is malty, caramel, dried fruits. Taste is malt, caramel, nuts, dried fruit, pretty smooth, very little bitterness.

Not a bad beer. Slightly above average. Probably won’t get it again because there are better beers out there.
