Bottle, 5.5%. Clear dark brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour starts off roasted with a little barley bitterness. Turns more malty and mellow, but ends with a little new bitterness.

Bottle. Nice head with medium duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich with nuts, malt, hops and has notes of fruits and some roast as well.

Dark beer. Pleasantly malty with a hint of marmite. Not bitter. Some unpleasant eggyness in the finish detracts.

Bottle at home - shared with Mette & Janis. (The Odense people is on their way to India). Dark brown - offwhite head. High malty, berries, caramel, bread, ligh thopped. Nice smooth !!

500ml bottle from Cask and Glass, Tonbridge. Dark ruby with dark beige head. Good dark fruit, damsons, plums, dark toffee, touch of herby hop. More toffee in mouth. Sweetish beer with some boiled sweet. Good dark beer, wih some bitter choc/coffee. However, would be excellent in live in cask

Bottled. Clear, deep ruby beer with an aroma of lightly burnt malt and some hops in the background. The flavor is a bit sweet and malty, with a balanced bitterness. Medium to full body and it feels a bit peppery in the mouth. A quite nice englishman. (070216)

(50cl bottle) Small tan head atop clear copper body. Aroma is moderately sweet, fig, caramel, light nut. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, fig/plum, some roasty nutty bitterness. Light-medium body, light stickiness. In the U.S., this would be considered a brown ale.

Dark brown with a thin head. Aroma is malty, almost almondy with a slightly fruity accent. Sweet character, a brown ale with nutty character and a touch of dryness in the finish.
