Bottled, Pasteurised.
Twelve Days is a dark brown strong beer brewed for Christmas. A finely balanced ale, lightly hopped with a strong malt and nutty flavor. The strength gives the beer a smooth lingering aftertaste. A definite ale to savour.

Beautiful chestnut brown colour. Very malty british ale with nuts and spices ending in a dry bitter finish.

A dark deep red beer with a good brown head. Aroma is rather sweet with hints of fresh fruits and malts. Flavor is roasty malty with notes of coffee, nuts with a nice dark bitter chocolaty finished. Stands out from most X-mas ales in a pleasant way.

Tummy bug brown, with no mentionable head. I had it too cold, so there isn’t much I can say about the aroma. Flavour is woody, with plenty of alcohol, actually quite interesting, with a hoppy bitterness that lingers for a long time in the mouth. Medium bodied, it has plenty of carbonation. Must be consumed at a proper temperature, much higher than straight from the fridge.

Bottle (damaged notes from the flooding of my basement). Sweetish aroma...all I could read.

Dark brown with a hint of red. Clear. Not much head. Aroma of dark toffee. Still refreshing and well balanced. A decent attempt of a Yule ale from the UK.

500ml bottle. pours a dark brown with very small head. just noticed that this is brewed for xmas. I had it in the height of summer on one of the hottest days - still went down well! aroma is rich of malts and spice. taste is much the same and as per the description, a very smooth after taste. some spices right at the end.

500ml bottle served cellar cool in a 1/2 pint chalice for topping up. Dark ruby with an offwhite head.Nutty aroma, smooth slick mouth feel, fruity flavour with a definite blackcurrant predominance. Lovely sipping beer.

Pours a deeper brown with an average beige head. Aroma is more heavy and malty, consisting of caramel, nuts, fig, and some slight spice notes. Roasted. The taste is pretty much what I was expecting from the nose. It is more nutty here and the I do get a bit more spice, especially at the end. The aftertaste is more nutty over everything else. It lasts awhile, but isn’t very strong. This is very smooth when drinking, with a medium body and some flatter carbonation. Nothing bad to report, although this one isn’t all that special.
