Bottled, Pasteurised.
Twelve Days is a dark brown strong beer brewed for Christmas. A finely balanced ale, lightly hopped with a strong malt and nutty flavor. The strength gives the beer a smooth lingering aftertaste. A definite ale to savour.

Bottle. Ruby color with a thick beige head. Spice & roasted caramel for aroma. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Rich caramel with citrus and spice for flavor. It is suggestive of a quad with regard to malt or maybe there’s some chocolate. Finish is astringent more than anything else. I’d drink it frequently, were it available.

Bottled (thanks to the craziest bartender ever!) Deep reddish brown colour with mediumsized creamy off white head. Aroma is spices, some nuttyness, rather sweet caramel malts as well as some underlying syrupy sweetness. Flavour is nutty, caramel malty and has some spices as well. Some mild notes of fruits as well as pine too. Pleasant and balanced HN product.

Chocolate, coffee, roast, and fruit aroma. Dark brown with tan frothy head. Chocolate, nuts, fruit, and balancing hop flavours. Full bodied, balanced, with lasting mild bitterness.

My second Christmas Day beer poured a the color of Coco Cola with a huge foamy light tan head and very attractive lacing that looks like a lace tablecloth. The nose is the aroma of caramel malts and roasted nuts with some subtle nuances of chocolate and ripe fruit. Medium body and slick mouthfeel. The flavor is big with the malts and nuts. The finish is lively and nicely bitter. A very nice Christmas brew.

Pours a deep ruby color with a good head and sheets of lace. The aroma is roasty & nutty with some milk chocolate and dark fruit. The flavor has a nice light roastiness with some good fruit and nutty notes. The palate is creamy and full. This is a very tasty beer.

Dark brown with a smaller head, not very viscous, seems thin... Aroma is sweet stick with big notes of dark fruits... Very malty flavor, nutty, dark fruits, mild chocolate notes... Lots of flavor for 5.5%, not as sweet as it smells.. Very good, Flavourful, as it would be spelled some would say more correctly...

24-DEC-2010, bottle @home, from "Fakta". Really dark clear brown with beige head. Nice roasted nose with a sweet, bourbon like note. Taste is the same with the roasted coffee notes in front. Where does the bourbon note come from? Is it really barrel aged? I guess not, but this brew really surpriced me:-)

Tried a 22oz. from Bestway. Poured dark amber with a relatively thin feel. Excellent piney and mint notes. Very easy to drink. Overall a nice subdued holiday beer.
