Cask at William Jolle (Spoons), Northwood Hills. A dark brown/ruby coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Malty, caramel, dark fruit aroma. Tastes the same, malty, caramel, dark fruit, slightly nutty (like me). One of the better UK festive brews available.

Flavour: dark chocolate, a little of the tartness I got in the aroma present, cherry and chocolate, hint of chicory, coffee, good bitterness and tartness in the finish. Quite lovely.

For the sake of the social interaction just numeral ratings and/or some highlighted attributes. Quite dull strong ale from a decent brewery. Nothing worth of highlighting, but still good.
