The 15/50 of the name refers to Hop Back’s 15th and the Queen’s 50th anniversaries. This is a very pale summer ale with a refreshing and very fruity flavour. There’s plenty of light tang from the soft but aromatic hops. The fruits keep returning in different combinations of citric flavours, and there’s enough sweetness to stop the fruits from becoming sharp. A very good bottle-conditioned beer. ’Hoppy Anniversary’ indeed!
