Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
A very clean flaxen-coloured beer with wonderful thirst-quenching properties. The subtle blend of aroma and bittering hops give a crispness on the tongue which is delicately fruity, giving way to some dryness. The inclusion of some flaked maize in the grist subtly hints at crisp corn flavours.
Ingredients: Optic malt, flaked maize, wheat malt. East Kent Goldings, Pioneer and Tettnang hops, coriander.

Bottle from Morrisons. A golden coloured beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet and wheaty with some hop notes. A similar taste but that wheat really comes through. Quite sharp tasting. Nice enough.

Bottle from supermarket. Hazy yellow gold. Got a funny (not ha ha) aroma, little bit of fruit and something a little metallic like the taste has a touch of. There is some fruit in there but I found it a little dry and boring. Bitter finish. Wasn’t a fan of this one.

bottle from Darts Farm. Clear (perhaps slightly hazy) pale golden yellow, large bubbly-fluffy-fizzy head. Fruity nose. Very light-bodied with shy malty flavours, pleasant hints of lemon and grass as well as some dry aromatic hops and a tiny touch of sweetcorn. Refreshing and crisp.

Bottle, thx to Tarjei. A clear, yellowish golden beer with a thin layer of white bubbles. Citrusy, mostly lime, aroma with tea and a weak maltynes. Lime and lemon in the flavor with pale malt in the back, followed by a decent bitterness and a fruity and slightly piney, bitter finish. Medium body. Yet another rather boring but sure easy to drink and quenching golden ale. (080731)
