COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
A very clean flaxen-coloured beer with wonderful thirst-quenching properties. The subtle blend of aroma and bittering hops give a crispness on the tongue which is delicately fruity, giving way to some dryness. The inclusion of some flaked maize in the grist subtly hints at crisp corn flavours.
Ingredients: Optic malt, flaked maize, wheat malt. East Kent Goldings, Pioneer and Tettnang hops, coriander.

Colour of pale lager, with a decent white head and even a bit of lacing. Body is light enough to be refreshing without being watery. Citrus hops evident in the nose and these lead the way in the taste too. Bit more malt would be nice.

Flaske 500ml fra Kjeller 5. Veldig lys gyldengulbrun. Svakt uklar. Høyt kremaktig skum som daler sakte. Svakt metallisk aroma. Smaken har antydning til gress. Litt tynn. Litt syrlighet i ettersmaken. Bra tørsteslukker.

Cask @ OT. Lovely smooth and drinkable beer with heavy bread notes and a very fresh flowery hop profile.

Cask @Wyndham Armas, Salisbury. 08-08-2014.
In short: butiric nose beer.
Strong butiric nose. Pours clear bright gold with little white head. Short head retention, no lacing. Taste is mild, malty, sweet, as well as the aftertaste. I guess some kind of problem occurred with this beer, cause Hop Back at its "home" is supposed to be in proper condition.Weird.
