Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons, sold as Gaol House, but a very friendly manager revealed the secret. Copper brown with slight head, sold too cold. Tartish, fruity, nasal beer with a mass of caramel, not great, but I was in a Spoons.

Cask (Black Door, Helsinki)
Slightly hazy deep orange, large loose head. Beautiful noble hop hoppy aroma, some slight black tea, and a decent malty component too. Huge fruit ester taste, plenty of malts, but masses of noble hops - all very well integrated together. Long nutty bitter finish. Classic English bitter - good one Hop Back.

Cask, gravity, at Peterborough BF ’08. Copper. Slight citrus hop aroma. Grassy nettly taste with a mid bitter finish. This was quite good, though my taste buds had taken a bit of a beating by this stage of the festival.

Cask handpull at Market Porter. Copper coloour with lasting beige head. Some dustyness to a fruity best bitter. It’s alright, some good fruit salad. Some decent malts, just a bit better than average. Bit earthy on finish.
