Cask conditioned @ Guide Dog, Soton. Amber colour. Restrained malts with some caramel and fruity sweetness. Dominant factor here are the orangey leafy hops. There is a slight problem with this, in as far as the fresh hop character on occasion comes across as bearing a similarity to the ’freshness’ of some cleaning products. Apart from that its quite pleasant and ends on a tasty mouthfilling bitter finish. Light and enjoyable but doesnt stand up to closer inspection.
