Twickenham Brewery tasting 08. Very spicy. Overly spicy. Too much, bit of tea. Base beer is ok.

Bottle. Small vanilla hued head that mostly diminished, spotty amounts of lacing, transparent, carbonaton observed, and a red orange hue. Nose was sweet, cinammon, spicy and hint of coriander. Flavor was sweet, lightly bitter, cinammon and some hops. Smooth mouthfeel and medium in body. Not a great beer by any means, but not extremely bad either. I couldn’t acquire a liking for the taste of this beer. Not one that I’ll want again.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy fine to large sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a softly carbonated brown colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was malty and mild spice. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and mild spice. An OK brew just nothing special.

Body is a deep amber/brown/orange with a small beige head. Spice, buttered toast, almost a fruit cake aroma. Medium body. Almost a spiced cider note in the flavor. Not overpowering with the spice but not particularly enticing flavor.
