Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol, 14/04/09. Pale amber in colour with a slight white head. Muted aroma of sweet malts, apricots and a whiff of grassy hops. Flavour began with a touch of sweetness, before an enjoyable spicy hop kick which gave way nicely to a decent bitter finish. This had a lot of character for a 3.7% ABV beer. Good.

Clear gold beer. Light dry and hoppy with a touch of honey. Good flavour for it’s abv but a little dry in the palate.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival, day 2, on 1 May 2009. Pale gold with good condition. Nice firm hoppy citric bite. A pretty tasty session bitter with a likeable hop profile. Good flavour to strength ratio.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 09. Gold, lasting off white head. Good condition. It’s got some decent hop, grassy. Decent golden ale.

Cask, The Dispensary, Liverpool. Slightly hazy amber colour with a medium off white head. Quite a bit of lacing. Pretty restrained aroma, pale malt and some fragrant hop. Was expecting maybe a bit more hop in the flavour, but this had quite decent body for the strength with some fruitiness leading to a gently bitter finish. Certainly one of the better beers I’ve tasted around this mark. Decent effort..
