COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle.
Bottled version of Spring Zing contains lemongrass. A similar recipe to Taiphoon, though using Stryian Goldings in addition to the Saaz and Tetnang, and with less lemongrass.

rauchbier (3205) - Isle Of Beer, - JUL 14, 2008
Bottle, from Tesco, Grimsby. Straw gold, thin white head and low condition. Low fruity nose with corriander making a brief appearance, quite dry in the mouth, almost mouthpuckeringly so, with a background fruity note that again seemed more corriander than any other herb. Quite a harsh finish, dry and astringent with a vague citrus edge.

Bottle. Great clean beer in which you can really taste all the distinct flavours, whilst them still complimenting each other nicely. Lemon, grasses, coriander, slight hint of pepper. Fantastic refreshing bite to it, with a smooth, crisp finish.

Bottle. Bright golden beer with a strong white head. The aroma is fruity and dry, and the flavour is bitter, hopped and slightly citric. Overall an average beer, but cannot taste the lemon grass.

500ml Bottle - Pale golden with a white head. Grassy and hoppy aroma with hints of lemon. Hoppy and slightly spicy taste with hints lemon in the finish. The lemongrass gives it a bit of a kick.

From the bottle pours a very pale yellow. Nice bit of barley on the nose. A pleasing refreshing palate, very fresh, enough body not to be thin, cirtus, light lemongrass & a tongue tingling bitter finish. Spring Zing is an apt name.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow with a dense, frothy and lasting white head. Primarily citrusy aromas: grapefruit & lemongrass hops. Grassy hoppiness, more citric notes with some malty sweetness to balance. Some yeasty tones on the otherwise bitter finish. Thin body, medium initial carbonation that gradually subsides.

Bottle from Tesco. Bottle conditioned. Beautiful gold, almost lager-like, colour with thin white head. Aroma is citrus/malt with a flowery overtone. Gorgeous balance between sweet/dry malt/hop with a sharp, spicy finish. Excellent summer beer that can hold its own with the spiciest of foods.

berkshirejohn (3020) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 2, 2008
500ml bottle from Tesco, Ashford, Kent. According to the label this is made with lemongrass. Pale gold with a thin white head; finely carbonated with some sediment as it’s bottle conditioned. Sweet citrus aroma; citrus flavours, quite thin and sour with a hint of nettle (perhaps the lemongrass?), and a slightly herbal bitterness to finish.

Bottle I picked up at Sainsburys, Kidlington, Oxon and consumed at Cropredy Festival 2008 Pours light golden with good clarity. Fruity and dry beer but quite refreshing, some lemon comes through, its fine but a bit too similar to many hundreds of golden/blonde beers that currently kick around.
