2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 McWorta (234) - LUXEMBOURG - SEP 16, 2012
Lovely white frothy head and a pale golden colour. Develops a lot of yeast and hop notes on the nose, which is pretty much it as far as I can tell. Light fizzy, medium body and a slick bit oily texture. Tastes bitter due to the rather strong hop aromas. Finish is dry as expected.

On tap at Langtry’s, Nottingham. Standard looking blonde ale, small head. Light citrus aroma and a hops kick to the flavour raises it above the average drinkable summer ale.

Cask at the Happy Man, Englefield Green - 08/09/12.
Clear pale blonde with a thinnish white head.
Nose comprises pale malt, citrus and faint orange.
Taste follows nose, a little summer fruit.
Medium bodied and carbonation.
I used to drink this beer regularly in the late 90’s and held it with high esteem. Doesn’t seem to be the same, or could be my taste buds crave a stronger beast!?! Pesky yanks and scandos!
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 markodm (22) - ITALY - SEP 5, 2012
Pours golden, a bit hazy , with one finger super white head. Very interesting at nose with hints of fragrant bread and herbs, with a subtle frutiness. aroma is well balanced but lovely. First, strong maltiness and bread hints, followed by a long bitter aftertaste that wash the palate for an other swallow. the soft carbonation makes this ale very easy to drink and enjoyable. It remainds me the England country side aroma and smells.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jmgreenuk (1305) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - AUG 26, 2012
Cask at the Carpenters Arms, Windsor. Poured a cloudy straw colour with a light frothy head which stuck around for a while as did the lace. No aroma of note, but plenty of intense malty bitterness in the flavour, which lingers on the palate for a good while longer. A really nice, rounded and refreshing ale that quenches the thirst and is good when cool and also a little warmer too which allows the flavours to develop.

Bottle BB 13 01 13. Nose somewhat sweet with mild fruit from the yeast and light floral hops. Pours clear, bright yellow-golden with a rocky bright white head. Taste lightly sweet and a little more bitter, crisp medium body with a little grain-scratch and even less booze showing. Some nice little bits of rind here and there, and hints of orange and lemon. Simple but clean and very drinkable.
