3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is a beautiful beer... Dark roasted malty smell, with a thick and crisp amber taste... More of a dark brown than an amber look... by far one of the best Amber Lager available

I see why this beer has a Monde Selection to its name.
I was expecting something with more hops, but this is a nice balance. Not overpowering like an IPA. Very refreshing.
Quality ingredients in the quality brew.
Will buy again.

1.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Clear, clear amber beer. The thought of white head. And I smell ... uh... nothing. Dripped my nose to get a hint of malt and syrup. Taste is sweet thin roasted malt. Mild mild bitter after. Junk.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Schön dunkel bernsteinfarben im Glas. In der Nase malzig, Karamell. Im Trunk Malz, süß, süffig, aber auch ganz leicht metallisch. Trotzdem ein ordentliches Lager. Im Abgang Holz.

Bottle. Pours amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, grains, light hops and nuts. Flavor was malty with caramel, grain, grass, and had notes of some nuttiness.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured into a Duvel glass at home on 25th Mar 2015. Nice clear amber with a red hue brew, large white foaming head: very un-lager like. Nutty and woody nose with a mild maltiness, the taste similar in nature: semi-sweet flavour from the malts, late bittering in the finish. Different and unusual for a lager based brew: I liked it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 fl oz bottle. Aroma is malty, caramel, light roasted coffee. Quite untypical for a lager. Appearance is dark orange, almost brown with a thick, light brown-ish foam. Taste is light sour, very light sweet and a bit bitter in the end. Medium carbonation, light, dark chocolate like, dryness. Very different from other Lagers but impressively well done. I like this.
