When your brewmaster comes up with a recipe as good as this one, you let him name the beer whatever he wants. Here’s what makes our recipe so darn good: a rich burnt orange colour, darker than most lagers, a smooth, medium body with a bold, but pleasant, hop taste, full of flavour, unlike your traditional ’cold-as-ice’ beers with no taste, made with only the best ingredients, including Canadian & English Malts, and German & Czech Hops.

473 ml can. Clear orange copper, lasting creamy off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt and caramel. Lightly sweet toasty malt taste, some caramel flavor, mildly bitter and somewhat bland. Low carbonation, light bodied, lightly hopped. Some citrus emerges as it warms. Extra point for the sassy squirrel cartoon. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

Pours a golden colour, with a minimal white head. Aroma notes include slight caramel, cracker, apple, and pear. Tasting notes were quite bland, pretty much tastes like a standard macro brew. Nothing special hear folks!

Got this beer because of the clevername but was pleased overall. This pours a nice copper color. Nose is mild but not off-putting. Taste shows an impressive balance. Taste of sweat malt with good hop character. Mouthfeel, well what to I really care a out mouthfeel? Better than expected. Better than most lagers I’ ve had in a while.

Somehow a craft brewery using all malts came up with a labatt dry clone, nice.

Bottle. Light copper pour with a white head. Caramel, brown sugar, fish on the nose. Much better in the mouth. Good medium carbonation with light to medium body. Not complex but is a refreshing beer. Sweet finish.

473 ml can, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Caramel colour, soapy bread aroma. Soapy flavour, then some resinous bread, and strange aftertaste. Not for me.

Taste like a standard beer with a caramel after taste. Not too bitter. Review: http://youtu.be/54Th_5-11sQ
