COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
When your brewmaster comes up with a recipe as good as this one, you let him name the beer whatever he wants. Here’s what makes our recipe so darn good: a rich burnt orange colour, darker than most lagers, a smooth, medium body with a bold, but pleasant, hop taste, full of flavour, unlike your traditional ’cold-as-ice’ beers with no taste, made with only the best ingredients, including Canadian & English Malts, and German & Czech Hops.

Pours a deep burnt orange with a medium fluffy tan head that quickly dissipated to a trace film. Aroma is floral, caramel and toast. Taste is sweet with mild hop bitters. Medium bodied, slick with a little stickiness. Nice Vienna as it is crisp and clean while remaining flavorful.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy dark caramel with a three finger, off-white head made up of large bubbles that fades quickly. Aroma has hints of caramel, grain, and fruity apple juice. Taste is slightly malty with a hint of fruityness and a slight bitterness on the finish. Medium body with a low-medium carbonation. Pretty clean in the mouth with a smooth texture and finish. Overall not bad and worth a try. Slight fruity notes blended with a balanced taste. Cheers!

Out of a can into a glass. Pours a moderate head which doesn’t linger. The colour is a browny amber colour that is moderately transparent. Decent taste with medium bitterness and average carbonation. Still fairly generic but but a notch up from your high production pilsner/lager.

Bottle. A solid if unspectacular amber. Nothing wrong here but not flavorful and just sits there.

Easy going amber with some usual aromas. Nicely with malt, some leaves, caramel and a bit of sugar. In the end a bit dry with some sweetness. Great in quaffness and drinkability. Good one.

Pours out of the bottle in a clear amber colour with low head and low body. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste of malt, caramel, nuts, torf and leaves. Quite easy and nice to drink, solid amber.

Bottle, 5%. Buttery aroma. Clear amber colour. Small off-white head. The flavour also starts a little buttery, turns spicy, perhaps from the hops, and finishes on a sour grainy note.

Bottle. Pours clear tea amber with small off-white head. Clear aroma of fruit, malt, and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with malty and fruity notes and a touch of yeast. High carbonation. Sour-sweetish aftertaste. An OK amber lager, even though I am not a great fan of this beer style.

One of the better Lagers I’ve had. From a bottle at a party, not ice cold, maybe even slightly warm. I don’t usually drink this style but this looked interesting and I hadn’t had it before, so I figured, why not? Pleasantly surprised. Rich but not overly sweet; carbonated but not overdone.
