The aroma was skunky, tangy and somewhat sweet. The flavor was bitter and tangy with faint caramel, vague fruits and cardboard. Turns dry on the short cardboard finish. Medium body. Fairly awful.

This beer changed my opinion on hoppy beers. Used to never be a fan but my palate is clearly changing now. A draft beer fav now.

Malt, sweet caramel aroma.
Taste is soft, sweet caramel/toffee.
A little bread, a little spice.
Very comfortable, tasty beer.

Bottle. Lightly sweet caramel malt aroma. Clear copper with a large off-white head. Toasty caramel malt and herbal hops flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation.

2013/06/10 - Pours a clear orange amber color, with a thin, foamy, off white head. Aroma is sweet malts and toffee. Taste is toffee up front with a smokey and slightly hoppy aftertaste. Mouthfeel is watery and slightly sticky, with medium carbonation and a drying finish. An ok session beer.

Can pour light amber. Nose sweet malt, toffee. Taste malty, slight fruit character. Minimal finishing hop.

Appearance: Pours a nice maroon clear.
Aroma: Aroma of caramel and dough.
Taste: Light sweet from caramel, light bread, light bitter.
Palate:Light medium body, lingering aftertaste.
Summary: A pretty solid lager, sets out to do what it intends to.

Bottle. Not much flavor. Tastes like mellow malt, slightly bready. Not much smell, light hop aroma. Medium body and low carbonation.

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine - Pours a crystal clear mahogany color with a 3/4 finger thick light tan head. Very light lacing. Aroma is faint floral hops and toasted malt. Flavor is light as the aroma. light to medium body. There is just not much here. Needs more of everything.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber/copper with an off-white head. Aroma suggests very light cola. Med body, or nearly. Flavor is slightly roasted caramel with a small amount of herb/spice hop. Seems to nail the style.
