Subtle, grainy, sweet malt aroma. Sweet caramel malt taste dominated until a modest amount of spicy hops popped up in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel. Bottle from State Line.

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine - Pours a crystal clear mahogany color with a 3/4 finger thick light tan head. Very light lacing. Aroma is faint floral hops and toasted malt. Flavor is light as the aroma. light to medium body. There is just not much here. Needs more of everything.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber/copper with an off-white head. Aroma suggests very light cola. Med body, or nearly. Flavor is slightly roasted caramel with a small amount of herb/spice hop. Seems to nail the style.

It is not a beer with huge taste like you might see in other craft beers but it is a Vienna Lager, so the taste won’t knock you off your feet. It is a beer with some taste, much better then mass produced beers but also still easy for drinking as a big session beer. I say this beer is well done and enjoyable.

Great introductory craft beer. Good appearance, burnt orange color. Enjoyed the taste, not as hoppy as it sounds.

Not bad. Amber beer with solid flavor. Nice addition of hops give this a nice balance.

Just what the world needed, another mediocre Canadian lager! On draught at The Pour House in Mountain Home, PA. Arrived to the table a clear amber with a moderate white head that left ample lace and lasted through the first half of the beer. That was the high point for this beer. Not very aromatic at all. The flavor is malt with a touch of caramel followed by some mild hops bitterness and a bit of astringency that lingers at the back of the throat after the swallow. Lacks the smoothness typically associated with lagers. Meh.

473ml can. Pours a copper colour with a thick off-white head. Smell is citrus, spices, and malt. Tastes pretty bland. Bitter with some sweetness but not as much flavour as I anticipated. A good beer nonetheless, give it a try.

Wow, surprisingly nice colour, nice head. Not overly carbonated. Starts with a bit of caramel in the aroma, but also some hop evident. Taste is merely OK, not a big presence at all. Little bit of astringency and a moderately long finish. Actually pretty refreshing. I could see this cleansing my palate between Belgian Strongs.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 574deadzone (541) - North Central, Indiana, USA - APR 23, 2013
Sample. Pours a clear, fizzy auburn color with a thinner eggshell head. Nose of light caramel and touches of noble hops. Lighter on flavor, a touch more sweet than bitter. Medium bodied, very carbonated, with a pretty quick finish that hints at toast. Not a lot to it, nothing offensive but nothing truly inviting. Drinkable to a point, but it is on the heavier side for those who care to toss a few back.
