A golden amber ale with a thick frothy off white head. In aroma, a nice caramel malt with smooth British hops. In mouth,a smooth pale ale with some nice resinous hops, faint but goods, caramel in finale. Medium bodied. Half pint at Highlander, Ottawa, 3.09$.

On tap @ Stack Toronto. Pours a dark gold with a small off-white head. Smooth creamy mouthfeel and a gentle finish. Tastes were mild hop, mineral, and malt. Almost like an anemic IPA.

Pours golden, medium carbonation with a white head that disappears quickly. Mostly caramel on the nose, a little bit of citrus and lavender. Light body, mild caramel and orange. Finish is a bit soapy and bitter. Not great.

550ml draught

I tried this beer on draught on July 8, 2011 at ’C’est What’ in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a clear golden-red with a white creamy head. The aroma was caramel hops, weak fruits, and citrusy hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grass, some funky sweetness, and a citrusy finish.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 blankboy (4453) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2011
Draught at launch party at 99 Sudbury. Pours a clear bubbly amber with an average size creamy off-white head. Aroma of hops (yay!), caramel malt and grain. Flavour’s malty with some light hops, grain and a short dry, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Not bad at all, my favourite of their beers and I’d gladly have it again.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Eructoblaster (2122) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 10, 2011
On tap at the Highlander (Ottawa, ON). Limpid amber body with a thin, diminishing white foamy head. Thin malty/hoppy aroma with herbal and bready hints. Taste is slightly dominated by hoppy flavors and lacks both strength and complexity. Ends with a short bitter/herbal finish. Ordinary.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2011 [3668-20110407] Tap. Not a lot in the aroma, some light grains. Clear, light orange amber body with a long-lasting creamy white head and some lacing. Rough grains flavour is not as balanced as I would prefer. Medium body. Interesting but the Mr. Huff is more sessionable. (6/3/6-/3/11) 2.9
(Launch Party @ 99 Sudbury, Toronto, ON)

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2011 2011-06-25. Crisp golden amber, large foamy beige head. 4+ Flavour is mild, light bitterness, sort of stringent grainy character is mild, light fruit kisses vaguely lemony. 6+ Mild aroma of dusty malt hints at caramel. Odd note to the yeasty character. Average palate with sharp note of carbonation in the finish. 6/3/6/3/12 - 3.0 Draft at C’est What Festival of Small Breweries
2011-04-07. Crisp amber body with a nice foamy white head. 3+ Yeasty aroma, dry toasty malt character. Flavour is similar, toasty dry malt with a yeasty accent. Dry lightly bitter finish with some fruit emerging in the finish. Okay, the mild character is more like an English Pale Ale than American. Decent, this is not unlike Creemore, and will be enjoyed by those looking for a "step up" from the mainstream, but I suspect many craft beer fans will find that there is not enough going on to get them to return to it. 6/3/6/3/13 - 3.1 On tap at Mr Huff launch party, Toronto

Pale golden pour. The aroma is lightly estery with a faint hint of light orange on the back. Light bodied with a little bit of sweet malt. It’s got a bit of light estery character. It’s simple, but fairly pleasant. A simple lawnmower ale. No obvious flaws.
