COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Programmed with 5 West Coast American hops, HopBot IPA brings out waves of absurd citrus and tropical aroma and flavor.

The Citra, Centennial, Mosaic, Summit and Willamette hops are perfectly balanced by a solid malt backbone.

12oz bottle, Maruhn. Inviting in label and surprisingly low price tag - CAN import? Grapefruit peel in aroma turns into full-on resinous grapefruit pith and little else, reaching ultimate astringency fast on a thin palate. Well hidden abv, otherwise really unbalanced and on account of the thin mouthfeel not all that enjoyable.

[6712-20140830] Can. Mild grainy cardboard aroma. Clear, bright orange brown body with a big long-lasting creamy off-white head and some light lacing. Bitter leafy hops flavour has a big grainy resin finish. Medium body. Average. (6/3/6/3/14) 3.2

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and grapefruity. Citrusy, crisp hoppy and solid fruity. Ends bitter and lingering fruity.

355ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Piney, resinous and tropical fruity hoppy aroma, hints of mango and passion fruit. Taste is slightly bitter hoppy, piney, some resin, cautiously tropical fruity. Very well balanced, a suitable introductory West Coast IPA.

Bottle from TheHOFF43- thanks again, Kyle! Pours a clear gold color with a small off-white head, soft in texture. Notes of toasted and pale malts, sugars, straw, crackers, and grass. Most hops seem to be gone, especially based on what the description says. Virtually no bitterness. Light-bodied, with medium to high carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Pedestrian IPA.

12oz bottle, big thanks to phaleslu for sharing. Code printed on label is indecipherable. I don’t know how old this is, but it doesn’t taste too fresh. Kind of toasty, bready malt, that’s pleasant. Not much pleasant hop aromatic though, some kind of piney spicy hop to it, but that’s it. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Golden orange color, thin off-white head, loose dots of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation, more dry finish. Kind of a full, chewy body. Doesn’t have that impressive of a hop aromatic, but it’s a smooth chewy IPA, interesting to try.

A gift from my friend Melissa. Bronze, lightly cloudy with nice white head. Hint of apricot and wet blanket in the aroma. Mild taste of malt with a hint of fruit with strong bitter metalic aftertaste.

Light aroma and a mildly cloudy burnt orange color. Not as hoppy and kind of tastes like an amber or similar duke beer. Mildly bitter finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
