COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Programmed with 5 West Coast American hops, HopBot IPA brings out waves of absurd citrus and tropical aroma and flavor.

The Citra, Centennial, Mosaic, Summit and Willamette hops are perfectly balanced by a solid malt backbone.

Bottled@PBF X. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some mild toffee and also some spruce. Flavour is spruce, some floral and grassy notes along with quite nice bready and caramelly maltiness to it.

Surprised I haven’t rated this already, and also surprised that it’s a bit better than I remember. Nose is timid but I get a surprisingly pleasant burst of pineapple and tropical fruit out of the can (far more than citrus). It could use a bit more hop punch and bitterness, but it goes down remarkably well for 7.1%. Decent faux-micro.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head. A big sweet citrus nose. Pretty fresh, citrus, lemons especially, sweet toast, light caramel malts. Good. Easy drinking intro IPA.

12 oz draft poured at east side marios in Moncton. Pours golden with a white head and some lacing. Straightforward ipa. Smells like piney hops and tastes about the same. Bitter finish. Drinkable.

12oz bottle pours with a clear copper body that has thin gold hues and supports a thin tan head. The mild aroma offers up some pine hops, a light but seemingly out of place biscuit maltiness and then sweet malts feebly flowing into light fruity esters and grassy like hops. The taste starts with a fairly tasty blend of modestly resiny pine hops and biscuit malts. To midway a murmur of sweet malts is noticed amid the pine hop bitterness. Underneath there seems to lurk mild sweet fruity esters. Decent. There’s hops to be had here but they seem to clash with the malts and esters.
