Can from LCBO, beautiful colour and aroma. Very smooth not as cloyingly citrus, banana as some. Not the best weisse I have tasted, but very drinkable.I’ll be back for more

473ml can from the LCBO. Pours a hazy gold/yellow body with a minimal to non-existent white head which dissipates entirely leaving no head. Aromas are some yeasty funk, banana, orange zest, tropical fruit, some notes of vanilla, clove and lemon are subtle. Some alcohol is present for a minor warmth. Medium to high carbonation. Medium bodied. Low percieved bitterness.

473ml can. Pours an opaque yellow with a white, one finger head. Aroma has nice notes of wheat, citrus, banana, and hints of candy sugar, bubble gum, and spice. Taste is balanced. Citrus, wheat, and a mild sweetness. Medium body with a medium-high carbonation. Clean and refreshing in the mouth with a medium-dry finish. Overall a pretty standard beer bit still refreshing and easy drinking.

Treditional weise. Citrus and coriander on the tongue and a little funk in the nose. Not bad

473ml can. Clear golden pour with a thin white head. Flavors are banana, wheat, bread, citrus, cloves and pepper. A bit heavy on the phenolic side. Medium body, lively carbonation, thin texture.

Pours clear straw colour (odd for the style) with a fluffy white head. Aroma includes notes of sour fruit, yeast, and coriander. Tasting notes include orange peel, tart esters, pinch of coriander. Not bad, but I have had much better Hefe’s.

Late Friday afternoon pour. Cans been sitting in the fridge for awhile. Straightforward attempt at the style which while isnt offensive doesn’t offer any reason to reach for it instead of an import or the far superior Side Launch brew. But not to worry cuz the real reason I opened this can was because the cocktail I’m making -- the Weissen Sour -- (a rethink of the bourbon sour) calls for a beer to finish the recipie. Message me if you want the recipie (you know you do).

Can at the Ottawa Beerfest. 2 tickets. An opaque straw gold with an earthy, cardboard and light clove weizen aroma.  A very spritzy light body that feels refreshing. The taste is banana, mild cloves & a kind of bready cardboard not bad. A mild weizen, a style that isn’t so represented at a summer time Beerfest.

Super clear amber-ish colour with a foamy white head. Off the top the aroma smelled of sulphur, which blew off after a whiles. There is wheat, a hint of esters and some kitchen spice and a sort of lemon like grind to it but it is very quiet. Boring palate, watery at times, a sports a fast finish. Flavours are gone before they even hit the palate. it is a well carbonated brew with some wheat and yeasty notes but not much else worth describing.

A really good and yummy weisse beer. A bit Bitter and hint of skunk on the taste, but the citrus and cilantro are there. Refreshing. Do grab one for the patio.
