2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pint on tap at Beer Revolution in Edmonton pours a clear golden color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild with cereal grains with citrus and grass. Taste is a light spicy and grassy hop bitterness with a grainy malt sweetness. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Note: this was poured from the cask tap that evening.

Clear yellow. Very grainy aroma. Same taste with not really any hop flavours some. Very one sided and bland.

Tap @ Works. Crystal clear urine pour. Head has some staying power. Smells like a grain silo with sugar added to it. Tastes like cornmeal and white sugar with a faint hop note. Goddamn hideous.

Enjoyed at West 50 on tap. Though heavily European hopped, and therefore of some interest, this is not the sublime Czech pilsner. Slightly hoppy aroma, along with a contribution of cheese. Decent quafability; thick lace on dark yellow body.

500 mL Glass of draft sampled at a pub. Pale gold body with a filmy white head leaving some spotty lace. Aroma of light malts and grassy-resiny hops; very beery. The flavor is a nice balance of light malts and hops that I could indulge in a session. Creamy finish. Nothing overly sensational but likeable otherwise.

Mr Huff is a refreshing, yet hoppy pilsner. I find the after-taste doesn’t linger like some other Pilsners. It is very drinkable with some nice delicious hop flavours. Would look forward to seeing this one in the LCBO.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Okay, pretty good for a pilsener. Aroma was nothing special, but the taste has a nice bitterness that I like my pilseners to have, but not all of them do. I’d choose this again in a pinch.

On tap at the Works (Danforth). Pours a clear bright golden colour with moderate-sized white head. Aroma is grains and grass. Flavour is slightly sour grains and light grassy hops. Modestly crisp finish. So so.
