3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Enjoyed at West 50 on tap. Though heavily European hopped, and therefore of some interest, this is not the sublime Czech pilsner. Slightly hoppy aroma, along with a contribution of cheese. Decent quafability; thick lace on dark yellow body.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very pale straw coloured pour with a tight white head. The aroma is lightly hoppy with a fairly noble character. Herbal and a little bit floral. The malts are surprisingly crackery. Crisp bitterness. Decent really - although I’d always prefer more hops.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2011-04-07. Crisp yellow body with a nice creamy white head. 3+ Sweet buttercup aroma, muted pale malt. Flavour of sweet pale malt. Mild bitterness throughout. Modest floral buttercup character. 6+ Average plus palate suits the beer. Very clean, quaffable. I had three pints of this, and I would say it is my favorite of their four beers, which is unusual since I am not particularly fond of pilsners. Second pint had a more prominent hops and bitterness in it, and the third was somewhere between the first two. May have been temperature induced, or reflective of other beer and food consumption over the night. Decent overall, but a bit more hoppy bitterness would punch it up a notch. On tap at Mr Huff launch party, Toronto

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught at launch party at 99 Sudbury. Pours a clear bubbly pale gold with an average size long-lasting frothy white head. Decent lacing on the glass. Nice aroma, sweet and hoppy along with pale malt. Flavour’s fine, I’d like more Czech hops there but it’s still nice. Grainy with light hops and pale malt. Average to medium bodied. Not bad at all, it’s a bit sweet for my liking but it’s a well done Pilsener.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pint on tap at Beer Revolution in Edmonton pours a clear golden color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild with cereal grains with citrus and grass. Taste is a light spicy and grassy hop bitterness with a grainy malt sweetness. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Note: this was poured from the cask tap that evening.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Hard Rock 42 in Sudbury.
NIce golden pour with an ample head. Nice aroma of piney hops, and some quite decent grains, and cereals.
The mouthfeel is perfect, and the carb is spot on. The finish was a pleasant bitter, and a nice cereal aftertaste. a very decent pils.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Had this one at The Works in Ottawa before a Deep Purple show (2nd Canadian pils of the night - the other being the Garrison). Typical golden brew with a decent white cap and good lace. Nice mild hoppy aromas with cereal grains. Crisp mouthfeel with a malty taste and some bitterness from the hop. Was quite decent with The Works huge burgers. An easy-going pilsener.
