Bottle #494. I was hoping for more. not very sour definitely not imperial but i guess thats due to ABV. A- pours a super bright yellow almost transparent. reminds me of being dehydrated. S- not much going on at all a slight tartness on the nose. T- a slight tartness but not much hoping for more out of a berliner. M- light and refreshing very enjoyable. O- its ok nothing to really be ISO. the drink ability of it is what brings the rating up. Not really a Berliner IMO.

Interesting beer. I’m skeptical when it is called an Imperial Berliner...anyway. Pours a copper color with a medium white head. A light fruit nose, some wood. The flavor is sawdust, tartness, quite sour at times, peaches. Mellow. OK.

Pour is a hazed pale golden yellow with a small amount of white head. Nose is heavily doughy with a moderate lemon character with notes of hop bitterness and some acidity. Taste is sweeter, lots of lemon, a good bit of doughy malt, light acidity, crisp cracker, sweet sugars, butyric acid. Assertive carb, light body, a bit grainy.

Decent attempt at the style. Had this a while back on tap at Bocktown Robinson. From notes. Aroma was decent. Hay, clove and very slight vinegar. Pour was a hazy dirty medium gold with a thin film for a head. Taste was very refreshing. Didn’t taste like a 7.5% beer. Wish it was a little more sour. Just mildly tart with hay, stale hops and a little lemon. Expected at little more carbonation, but still a nice beer.

Bottle from recent trade...thanks! Shared with Edgar and Brian in small snifters. Pours a mostly clear yellow with a small head. Aroma is somewhat fruity for a berliner, citrus, funk. The taste is light citrus fruits, pear, basement funk (mild), slight tartness. Body is light, finish is slight tart and dry fruits. Overall not bad. A little different.

Bottle courtesy of noodleuser, thanks! Cloudy golden yellow color, bright white head. Aroma of pink flowery feet and perfume. That’s what my notes say anyway, I don’t understand it either. Taste is softly tart lemon, berries.

Hazy yellow orange in color... Aroma of bananas, cloves, light wheat... Flavor is light wheat, banana, veggies, light tartness throughout... A little flintstone vitamin... Not the best ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Super cloudy hazy blonde, nice 3 finger head but fades fast. Smell is very taught..like an earthy bitter pine oak with birch and some sweetness. very earthy and tart. Taste reminds me more of an american pale ale mixed with a wheat beer gone sour. Nice body, tart finish.

Nice light Berliner weisse. Pours cloudy pale, consistent for style. Light raspberry and good stuff overall. Light sour finish, lighter than many of style. Thanks to noodleuser.
