Bottle #494. I was hoping for more. not very sour definitely not imperial but i guess thats due to ABV. A- pours a super bright yellow almost transparent. reminds me of being dehydrated. S- not much going on at all a slight tartness on the nose. T- a slight tartness but not much hoping for more out of a berliner. M- light and refreshing very enjoyable. O- its ok nothing to really be ISO. the drink ability of it is what brings the rating up. Not really a Berliner IMO.

Bottle from recent trade...thanks! Shared with Edgar and Brian in small snifters. Pours a mostly clear yellow with a small head. Aroma is somewhat fruity for a berliner, citrus, funk. The taste is light citrus fruits, pear, basement funk (mild), slight tartness. Body is light, finish is slight tart and dry fruits. Overall not bad. A little different.

Super cloudy hazy blonde, nice 3 finger head but fades fast. Smell is very taught..like an earthy bitter pine oak with birch and some sweetness. very earthy and tart. Taste reminds me more of an american pale ale mixed with a wheat beer gone sour. Nice body, tart finish.

Nice light Berliner weisse. Pours cloudy pale, consistent for style. Light raspberry and good stuff overall. Light sour finish, lighter than many of style. Thanks to noodleuser.

#7600 for Doc Lock! Iíve been fortunate enough to share a few unique beers, multiple home brewed rarities, and hundreds of special event beers, but this one might be the rarest numbered beer I have quaffed. .Pink waxed bottle, #455/500, for 7600. Pours turbid orange canary with 1-finger white head. The head is loud, and channels Fred Eckhardt and says to me, "Divorce your wife and hang out with Janet more". Fred, I agree, man. Anyway, on to the review. Nose is tropical citrus, hops. Tastes very tart, citric, with lemon, grapefruit, and lime. Finishes tart, with backup hops. This is a solid Berliner.
