UPDATED: APR 10, 2010 750 ml bottle courtesy of Greg at Churchkey - thanks Greg! Slightly hazy dark yellow. Aroma of fresh hops and lemon zest. Taste is citrus, malt, white pepper, and of course hops, but not overwhelming. Very nice.

750 mL capped bottle - Harvest 2009 bottle, sampled March 2012: clear orange gold body w/ lightly persistant ivory film. Fruity aroma with loads of freshly baked dough and oranges and bananas. Light wisps of brett, bitter herbs and honeycomb. Flavor of passionfruit, strawberries, bitter melon and lightly sour grapefruit. Fantastic beer, from one of my favorite breweries, Hautly: I am impressed that you have already figured out my favorite types of beer...Cheers!

750ml, somewhat cloudy/yeasty/ hazy orange yellow. citrusy, flowery yeastiness fill the aroma. flavor follows the aroma true to form with a good dose of hops. pretty solid saison

Bottle courtesy of and shared with BeerandBlues2 in Dec. of 2010. Color is a hazy orange yellow with good carbonation and a fluffy white head. Aroma of yeast with a light back note of skunk. Flavor is a light fruit taste of pineapple and yeast then a touch of spice and a mellow bitterness on the end. Overall its a very good and well balanced Saison.

Cloudy, orange, good white head. Some yeast and citrus aroma in the nose with lots of citrus and grassy flavors - some of which remind me of a wheat beer. Very dry with a slightly bitter finish. A great summer beer.

Der Hopfenantrunk ist solide und angenehm gesetzt, in Stärke und Kombination mit der Bitterkeit passend. Insgesamt aber wässrig, der Hopfen kann diese Lücke nicht schließen. Es mangelt an anderen Aromen, weswegen das Bier monoton wirkt. Denn so abwechslungsreich ist dieses Hopfenaroma nicht. 12/8/7/8/?/8

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt, straw, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices, yeast, and caramel, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a white head. Very fresh flowery and citrusy hop aroma. Medium body, very fresh fruitiness, a little yeast and a very solid dose of hops in the finish. Nice alright. 190511

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Aroma is slight herbal and crisp citrusy hops. Bitter, citrusy and yeasty flavoured. Light peppery. Mixed yeasty and oily. Bitter, citrusy and slight grassy into the finish.

Bottle shared by drabmuh. Pours a light apricot color with a white head and quite a bit of lacing. The nose is quite grassy with some earthy hops. Everything is fairly faint. The taste is more flavorful and potent with good earthy hops and a bit of grass and flowers. The feel is fairly bitter with a nice dry finish. Drinks fairly well, but isn’t quite as good as the XX Bitter, in my opinion. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 11-30-2010

Bottle. Rating #6500. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity yeasty floral hoppy citrus and grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty hoppy bitter citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty hoppy bitter grapefruit finish.
