COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Maris Otter Pale Malt and Caramalt provide a rich malty base. Goldings hops contribute a soft rounded bitterness as a counterpoint to the citrus and tropical flavours of Motueka Hops.

Bottled, 500ml from S.H Jones, Banbury. Gold with white head. Initially this was a fairly sweetish beer, there is a light maltiness, a slight grainy note, some sweet fruitiness, melon, pineapple. The hop is at a pretty low level but does balance it a little. Overall quite reasonable.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green, 30/12/13. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering that retains well, decent lacing ensues. Nose is lightly hopped, orange, citrus fruits, bread dough. Taste comprises orange pith, grass, soft bread dough, lemon rind, light tropical fruit notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation leading towards dry grassy bitterness in the closure. Solid GB affair.

Bottle courtesy of Baz, consumed at Eardisley, Herefordshire Friday 8th November 2013 Pours gold, good clarity. Initial impressions are sweet, fruity, not as hoppy as I would like however its very pleasant. Quite a good beer though I start to tire of it after a while. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Hazy darkish amber beer. Tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is dry and a little crisp. Creamy dry malt. Nice orangey hops, whisper of lime. Minerals. Dry finish. Not bad but a bit too dry.

Cask conditioned handpump Whitelocks Leeds 01/05/13. A golden beer with a white head and lace. Fruity and hoppy but an odd grainy flavour. A bit old stylee Yorkshire which is a surprise. Balance is wrong and it’s not a patch on the other Hop Studio beers I’ve had.

Pours clear, yellow-gold with a fine, filmy white foam. Nice aroma, lots of fresh lemon and other citrus, and light doughy malts. Light to medium sweet flavor with some dried lemon, dough, hay, mild grass and floral hops.
