3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Low carbonation. An almost grapefruit presence emerges within the first few sips and quickly fades away. I say "grapefruit," but there is no hint of strong, west coast style hops. There is nothing about this beer that is reminiscent of an IPA. (That is a good thing, because IPAs are becoming too ubiquitous and banal.) I bought a six pack of the cans and had my third one after having another beer. I could taste subtle caramel malts with that third beer....something in the other beer brought it out. So this light beer is a little bit more complex than what one would think. This brew calls itself a lager. To me it tastes very much like a Kolsch. And the best American Kolsch I’ve had. The next one I’m going to drink right out of the can, and see if I can get anything else out of it. Good stuff.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from The Bier Stein in Eugene. Sweetish malty nose, grass. Clear golden straw color. Overly sweet initial with light hopping / a little biscuit and honey / smooth light finish. Thin-medium body. Solid, but unexciting, session stuff. Okay.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance is a light golden yellow forming a fair head that dissipates leaving sparce lace. Smell of very light hops and malt. Taste has a metallic bitterness that is not balanced with the sweeter malt. Mouthfeel is light with good carbonation. This lager is not enjoyable and needs a little work.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can:   Pale straw, pale haze, thin to moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Soft straw, hay, and grass.   Smidgen of sweetness.   Same on the tongue, lightly sweet straw and hay, a touch mealy on the backside.   Clean, feels a bit wheaty too.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Feels fairly crisp.   Simple, but clean and enjoyable.   Lingering straw, hay, and wheat.

12 oz can from a six pack bought at "Lifesource" Salem.
$7.99 a six
Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a large frothy/bubbly white head.
Aroma is faint strains of lemon zest, hay, slight caramel and paper.
Taste mainly sweet malts..a touch of citric hop and some biscuit.
Mouthfeel is OK for the style, maybe superior to most.
Overall a nice ordinary lager.

2.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a sweet and simple lager that does have more body and flavor then PBR or BUD but is eight bucks a sixer. Nothing offensive about it, would make an excellent camping beer.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught. Pours pale yellow, medium head much lacing. Not much aroma, just a little grass. Well balanced flavour malt and hops, with the right amount of sweetness and bitterness. Lekker finish. Good on a hot day.
