German pilsner malts balanced with Mt. Hood hops makes our take on the traditional pre-prohibition lager a craft classic.

This is a sweet and simple lager that does have more body and flavor then PBR or BUD but is eight bucks a sixer. Nothing offensive about it, would make an excellent camping beer.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a bubble haze. Decent wee head. Nose - barley with lashings of lemonade. Taste - big lemonade Radler type thing going on for sure. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - it’s a fruity lager that retains the main lager achievement of being refreshing. Therefore it makes me happy.

Can from Total wine.

Slightly hazy yellow pour with white head. Restrained aroma. Bready, lemon-inflected flavor without much hop presence. No glaring flaws but boring at best and not something I need to repeat.

Can from Liquor Outlet. Lightly hazy golden color. Nose is grainy with some sour cardboard. Creamy grain notes up front. Somewhat full mouthfeel. Grains and sweetness dominate. A little bit of grassy hops as well. Not that good.

Can from at Cotteridge Wines; clear golden yellow pour with a soapy white head, aroma has sharp lemon and hay, taste dried grass (hay) light citrus, some malty nonsense.

Lighlty hazy gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly crisp. Bready pale malts, light lager character and a whisper of dry cream. Modest hop fruits, little over ripe orange and a trace of hop spice. Finishes semi dry. A bit stodgy but okay.

Draft pour at the collective. Pours a clear pale golden color with barely any head. Grainy corn like aroma. Flavor is slightly hoppy, and decently refreshing. Pretty ordinary lager here. Nothing crazy, but better than others in the style for sure. Glad I tried it.
