COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Big flavor, intense pine and citrus aroma. We keep the malt profile clean in this Imperial IPA to let the love lights shine on the fine Northwest hops.

On Tap at the River Room, Whole Foods, Boise Hazy orange with a trace white head and lacing. Big obvious tangerine aroma. Not so much on te flavor. Quite bitter, moderate resinous citrusy hop notes. Smooth and soft palate.

Tried this one last night, with a friend. Growler. Enjoyed the aroma, the flavor, the bodacious, sticky head and the full, creamy, imperial ipa-ish body knowing I had one at home in a bottle. Thought Iíd do a bit of comparison tonight. Both presentations were equal in almost every aspect, but the aroma from the growler was twice the punch as what comes from the bottle when I peel back the cap. I tip to pour and fill my glass with an apricot liquid, the foam rising quickly; the head, dense and soft as it climbs towards the open mouth of the tulip. Still, not nearly the aroma I had from the growler experience. (gave an eight because of last nightís experience.) Despite the difference, I still find pine, heady and warm; deep, rich and grassy, accents of orange penetrate my senses, the first sip presenting with a flat bitter followed with multiple other flat bitter sips. IBUs are high, my dears, high indeed. Love my bitter, though, and it takes only a few sips in a few minutes to start really appreciating the flavor behind the bite. The bitterness edge is rough with no sting, no sharp ; this dull ache, a throbbing pound on the flat of my tongue. The head is still thick and deep, lacing the glass as I drink down. The flavor finally reaches a sweet spot with the temperature and plows through with a valid presentation of the aroma. Yes! Still dominated by the bitterness of the hops, the malt does come through after my taste buds recover from the onslaught. A finish is a delightful thing, or it can kill an experience. This Alpha Centauri, although quite naughty to my tongue, has become quite easy going and very drinkable, and for the extremely reasonable price, Iím happy I got a chance at it! A good beer, and a great price. Just be prepared for the forward...itís a fuckiní doozy!

Tap at the brewery as a part of the West Coast Brewery Road Trip. Golden orange color with a hop-forward nose. Mouthfeel is oily and resiny initially. Plenty of hops packed into this one. Pine and bitter notes prevail with some citrus towards the end. Turns drying and cloying at the finish. Nothing incredibly unique but a pleasant enough IPA.

Served on tap at Hop Valley. Orange Amber color with minimal white head. Hoppy aroma. Surprising light texture. Citrus and hop flavor. Pretty smooth for an IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber bottle at home. No bottle date to find on the bottle. Poured a deep dark golden colour with a smaller white head. First notice of sweet malts, cooked vegetables, citrus, some grapefruit, sweet caramel, bitter fruits, rasins, and long lasting pine bitterness. Bit to caramel sweetness. Could have used more fruitiness to it

Well balanced IPA. Sufficiently hoppy and bitter, but thereís a nice malty backbone. Recommended.
