COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Big flavor, intense pine and citrus aroma. We keep the malt profile clean in this Imperial IPA to let the love lights shine on the fine Northwest hops.

650 ml. bottle sampled @ Firestone Walker Tasting. Thank you! Hazy orange, creamy white. Nose is substantial yeast presence, thick, citrus, honey. Taste is honey, medicinal hop, muted dough, citrus peel, med. bitter. Tad yeasty body. Could have used more outspoken hop-character here & less yeast, cleaner, decent.

On draft at Chuck’s 85th. Grapefruit, pine resin, grassy aroma. Pours orange, slightly cloudy, with a white, thin head. Hits with a bitter taste from hops, with some sweetness and sourness in the back. Thick and full body, with a long finish.

Assertive grapefruit rind and tangerine hop bitterness and very dry clean finish for abv. Medium body, light for abv. Excellent.

Bottle. Golden amber with a big foamy head. The aroma is full of a big hoppy northwest pine edge. This drinks with a grapefruit edge, and is a little sticky on the palate, almost gluey. Really enjoyed it. (#5800, 10/8/2014)

From a bottle into a goblet. The pour is a hazy pale orange. A citrus floral taste, sticky texture , light to medium body , and a huge bitter aftertaste.

Pours a golden hazy with lacing white head. Aroma is somewhat subdued with hints of citrus and pine coming through. Big and bold in flavor with the pine and resinous hops coming through with the sweetness of the alcohol also present. Pleasantly balanced for this big of a beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

First of all: This brew smells wonderful. Aroma of fruits, citrus, pine, resin, grapefruit peel, hops. Flavour is fruity and resinous, light sweet, with a good bitter finish. Body is thick and full. Quite tasty and memorable DIPA.

Bottle from The Beer Junction, Seattle
Beautiful color, bright light amber, hazy, with medium sized compact head. The aroma is not expressive, it has some malt and hops but it’s a bit stale. Good body strength, smooth mouthfeel; lean pale malts flavor, again not expressive, with very strong bitterness, woody bitterness too, some resins and not much fruity character.
Disappointing.
