3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from The Beer Junction, Seattle
Beautiful color, bright light amber, hazy, with medium sized compact head. The aroma is not expressive, it has some malt and hops but it’s a bit stale. Good body strength, smooth mouthfeel; lean pale malts flavor, again not expressive, with very strong bitterness, woody bitterness too, some resins and not much fruity character.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Part of a flight at the brewery with Dadbra. Another ipa swimming with citrus and pine. The flavor is pretty juicy and piney. Doesn’t quite pop as much as some of their other offerings, but still pretty solid.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
26th August 2014
Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and airy, fine carbonation. The malt is clean, as promised on the label, and is slightly sweet with a touch of cream. Hops are spicy pine. Some drying alcohol aniseed, but no real heat. Touch of citrus before a semi dry finish. Decent and drinkable.

Had this at the Brewpub in Springfield. Second IPA of the night after the Citrus Mistress. Big hop flavor with an even taste in the mouth. Very solid beer and very easy drinking for a DIPA.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
UPDATED: OCT 7, 2014 On tap at Hop Valley in Springfield, OR. Aroma is piney and resinous, with hints of barnyard. Perfect hop/malt balance. Mouthfeel and taste begins creamy, sweet, and bitter, with a strong bitter, yet sweet finish. Hoppiness carries long into the aftertaste. An all-time favorite!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle @ 2nd Tuesday Tasting. Pours a clear golden beer with a small white head on top. Aroma is piney, citric, hoppy with a nice, light caramel backbone. Flavor is bitter, full citric and piney influences. The malty sweetness hits you in the back with a nice boozy touch in it. Very nice beer.
