3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(22oz bomber thanks to Nellie) cloudy, dark goldish-orange with lasting soapy offwhite head. Nose of pine, resin, sweet citrus zest, fairly malty in the nose too, almost some rye here too. Taste is fairly alcoholic, phenols, medium bitterness, spicy (perhaps the alcohol), rye, very very piney and resinous, lacks some citrus and malt components. Not for lack of being sweet, because it is, but the pine kills it. Oily body, soapy bitter finish. Decent beer, but couldn’t drink more than half a bomber I don’t think.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
STEVE! Random bomber picked up (at Belmont Station?). Pours a hazy orangey-gold with a bit of a foamy white head leaving nice spots of lace. Aroma has heavy pine and citrus with an herbal presence, and some toffee. Taste is of tangy pine and bittersweet citrus (heavy grapefruit), with a faint caramel malt backbone and quite a bit of resin. Medium to full bodied and syrupy. Very hop forward, with a lot of late dry hopping I’d wager. Alcohol faintly present. A very typical PNW overhoppy brew .... and there is nothing wrong with that.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from Harmons. Pours a mostly clear dark copper color with a small white head. A pretty nice nose of caramel, resin and citrus fruit. The flavor is sweet grapefruit, apples, caramel, light sweet resiny fruit. Fairly big flavors. Medium bitterness. Good.
