COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Big flavor, intense pine and citrus aroma. We keep the malt profile clean in this Imperial IPA to let the love lights shine on the fine Northwest hops.

Honey colored with a dense white head that looks like swedish memory foam. Aroma is pine and pithy citrus. Taste is like the zest and pith of a red grapefruit. $3.5/22

On tap at the brewpub. Grapefruit, Pine and Caramel. Resiny. Light alcohol burn. Bitterness throughout. Finish is a bit too sweet.

(22oz bomber thanks to Nellie) cloudy, dark goldish-orange with lasting soapy offwhite head. Nose of pine, resin, sweet citrus zest, fairly malty in the nose too, almost some rye here too. Taste is fairly alcoholic, phenols, medium bitterness, spicy (perhaps the alcohol), rye, very very piney and resinous, lacks some citrus and malt components. Not for lack of being sweet, because it is, but the pine kills it. Oily body, soapy bitter finish. Decent beer, but couldn’t drink more than half a bomber I don’t think.

STEVE! Random bomber picked up (at Belmont Station?). Pours a hazy orangey-gold with a bit of a foamy white head leaving nice spots of lace. Aroma has heavy pine and citrus with an herbal presence, and some toffee. Taste is of tangy pine and bittersweet citrus (heavy grapefruit), with a faint caramel malt backbone and quite a bit of resin. Medium to full bodied and syrupy. Very hop forward, with a lot of late dry hopping I’d wager. Alcohol faintly present. A very typical PNW overhoppy brew .... and there is nothing wrong with that.

Bomber from Harmons. Pours a mostly clear dark copper color with a small white head. A pretty nice nose of caramel, resin and citrus fruit. The flavor is sweet grapefruit, apples, caramel, light sweet resiny fruit. Fairly big flavors. Medium bitterness. Good.

22oz bomber from Roths Sunnyslope Market in S.Salem. Great price of $3.99 Looks like a regulation PNW IPA orange in colour, slightly hazy with a small white bubbly head. very fresh and active hop aromas. Mostly grapefruit/citric and pine! Taste is the same very powerful yet the pine and citrus meld to an ever present pleasing hop bitterness. Nice mouthfeel good and easy drinking for style. Another good but not great PNW IPA

Draft at NWIPA in Portland, OR on 2 June 2013. Copper pour with a slight haze and an off white head. Strong zesty, grassy aroma. Pine and bitter grapefruit hop flavours with some caramel malt notes. Nice balanced lingering bitterness.

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2013 Golden-amber with white head. Aroma is pine sap, resin. Body is medium. Flavor is peppery sappy. Meh. Enjoyable, but not amazing. Had it next to Breakside’s India Golden Ale, which was much more to my liking.

I’m usually not a huge IPA guy, but this one is VERY tasty! It has a great piney, citrusy aroma and a floral, citrus, hoppy flavor. Not overly bitter or bitey.

On tap. Transparent gold with dense, frothy cap. Aroma of tropical fruit and caramel with grapefruit. Taste is much the same with more tropical forward taste. Medium carbonation.
