3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz bomber imported straight from Eugene Market of Choice. Moderate head with considerable lacing. Solid semi-sweet taste with a strong but not overpowering hop punch on the back. Well balanced. Beautiful golden color. Not a world class DIPA, but a great effort and @ $4.99 a bottle I would revisit without hesitation.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
The almost saffron orange pour was mesmerizing. The beer smelled much like its brewery description, piney and citrusy. Unfortunately, it didn’t translate well into a great tasting brew. This is the second Hop Valley IPA that’s had a noticeably cloying aftertaste that was hard to get over. I’d have to pass on this beer, if ever presented with an opportunity to drink it again.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thanks Adam. Orange body with a bone white, foamy head. Aromas of grain, hops, earthy malts. Some herbal tones in the flavor along with resinous pine. What I describe as a balanced IPA. Medium bodied with medium high bitterness. Lingering grainy notes, resinous hops, and mild warming alcohol. Ok.

On tap at 55 south in San Jose. Piney double IPA that leans heavy on the hops;not too malty. Solid beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a hazy dark golden color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the label. Dank hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a grapefruit and hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 20/20
At 100 IBU’s, this is an extremely hoppy IPA, and also, strangely, quite enjoyable from start to finish.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewpub in Eugene, Oregon.
Medium amber with excellent clarity and a very good head. Some sticky lacing is left on the glass.
Nicely flavored, this is a relatively mild and easy drinking DIPA, with limited bitterness and partially hidden alcohol.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours clear orange, medium off-white head, diminishing but with nice residual and lacing. Aroma is pretty meh. Pine resin, hints of caramel and bathrooms. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium plus bitter, resinous but not much else. Medium body, strong lingering bitterness. Hints of far finish perfume. Me no likey.
