3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
From bottle. Dark golden orange color. Great citrus and grapefruit hop aroma. Well hopped, but very balanced with a sweet citrus caramel and tart grapefruit flavor. Finishes with an intense hop kick and slight warming.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a moderate pillowy white head on there. Nose is very hop forward, which I like; there is some nice resin and grassy notes to it. Taste is fairly bitter, and grabs your palate. Really interesting and pleasant beer.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours orange with a quickly disappearing white head that leaves some lacing. Hop nose of citrus and pine-not much though. Medium bitter and lightly sweet taste, medium body, flavors of grapefruit offset by a solid malt backbone, average carbonation and a long clean bitter finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz bottle. Clear copper with a whitish head. Nose is orange, toffee, cherry, apple and slight feline. Crisp medium body with a hoppy bite. Taste is grapefruit juice and peel, lemon zest and citrus honey. Bitter and bready; good for a hop fix.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is another winner from Hop Valley. Taste is REALLY balanced.....such excellent clarity of purpose. What a great beer. Taste is dead-on West coast IPA...citrus but not as up-front as their CITRUS MISTRESS. More old school ground and pound with excellent backbone of great malts. This brewey is one to watch.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very nice Imperial IPA that is very well balanced, but still aggressively hopped. Very nice aroma of pine and citrus and all the bitterness you expect from a great West Coast IPA.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle thanks to a double trade with writerljberg and douglas88. not sure who gets the credit. poues a hazy dark orange with small white head that dissipated quickly. Nose is straight up dank and weed. wow. Taste is similar, with the hops flavor up front and quickly turning bitter. The hop flavor seems to come out more as I drink it, but the malt kind of falls flat and the beers seems a bit watery. otherwise, great hop expression if you’re into that danky hop (reminds me of la cumber project dank), which I am. very solid, could just use a bit more mouthfeel/malt, but without sweetening the beer.
