Big flavor, intense pine and citrus aroma. We keep the malt profile clean in this Imperial IPA to let the love lights shine on the fine Northwest hops.

From bottle. Dark golden orange color. Great citrus and grapefruit hop aroma. Well hopped, but very balanced with a sweet citrus caramel and tart grapefruit flavor. Finishes with an intense hop kick and slight warming.

On tap at 55 south in San Jose. Piney double IPA that leans heavy on the hops;not too malty. Solid beer.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a hazy dark golden color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the label. Dank hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a grapefruit and hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

At 100 IBU’s, this is an extremely hoppy IPA, and also, strangely, quite enjoyable from start to finish.

On tap at the brewpub in Eugene, Oregon. Medium amber with excellent clarity and a very good head. Some sticky lacing is left on the glass. Nicely flavored, this is a relatively mild and easy drinking DIPA, with limited bitterness and partially hidden alcohol.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2016 Pours a light golden copper with a fluffy head that dissipates pretty quickly into thin lacing. The taste is sweet stone fruit at first but soon relinquishes into a bitter assault on the palate that somehow I really liked. It?s good.
