COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Big flavor, intense pine and citrus aroma. We keep the malt profile clean in this Imperial IPA to let the love lights shine on the fine Northwest hops.

UPDATED: OCT 7, 2014 On tap at Hop Valley in Springfield, OR. Aroma is piney and resinous, with hints of barnyard. Perfect hop/malt balance. Mouthfeel and taste begins creamy, sweet, and bitter, with a strong bitter, yet sweet finish. Hoppiness carries long into the aftertaste. An all-time favorite!

I’m usually not a huge IPA guy, but this one is VERY tasty! It has a great piney, citrusy aroma and a floral, citrus, hoppy flavor. Not overly bitter or bitey.

This is another winner from Hop Valley. Taste is REALLY balanced.....such excellent clarity of purpose. What a great beer. Taste is dead-on West coast IPA...citrus but not as up-front as their CITRUS MISTRESS. More old school ground and pound with excellent backbone of great malts. This brewey is one to watch.

Very nice Imperial IPA that is very well balanced, but still aggressively hopped. Very nice aroma of pine and citrus and all the bitterness you expect from a great West Coast IPA.

Bottle from Joe’s. Golden orange chill haze big bubble head and lace. Grapefruit peel aroma with some grass and bread and pine. Medium fruity sweetness with orange and peach. Assertive grapefruit rind and tangerine hop bitterness and very dry clean finish for abv. Medium body, light for abv. Excellent.

Shipped from OR mid-summer, so this rating will be compromised. I will give it the benefit of the doubt, nonetheless. Pours a pale, hazy orange cream colour with a soapy off-white head that fades to a thin film, leaving spotty lacing. The nose is as malty as it is hoppy. The aroma brings impressions of chewy caramel, citrus flesh, subdued resin, and some heat as it warms. Flowery hops, citrus flesh again, orange creamsickle, sherry, some resin and very mild pine. Silky mouthfeel, fine carbonation that is on the softer side. Nice balance for a west-coast ipa, where they usually tend toward over-attenuated hop bombs with no body. Long palate duration with emphasis on the citrus. Stellar.

Tap. Light copper, foamy white head. Hoppy and crisp, citrus and pine and alcohol. Really liked it.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a moderate pillowy white head on there. Nose is very hop forward, which I like; there is some nice resin and grassy notes to it. Taste is fairly bitter, and grabs your palate. Really interesting and pleasant beer.

Draught @ Baileys Taproom, Portland, OR

Pours hazy orange with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of dank wet piney hops, grass, fruits, malts and juicy notes. Taste is dank hoppy, malty, fruity and caramely. Finish is lingering bitter with massive amounts of fresh wet hops and dank fruitness. Awesome DIPA.

Had this at the Brewpub in Springfield. Second IPA of the night after the Citrus Mistress. Big hop flavor with an even taste in the mouth. Very solid beer and very easy drinking for a DIPA.
