3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at the first Kinki Beer Tasting. I liked the classic fairly clear orange-gold color with a citrus-pine hop aroma. A medium body with a bitter pine taste & a dry finish. Itís a solid but unexceptional IPA.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A slightly cloudy light golden orange color. Nice level of carbonation, average head. Smells citrusy, not real strong or overpowering smell. The taste is strong or oranges and grapefruit. Pretty good IPA. It is pretty intense grapefruit, could be alittle bit more balanced.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can. Large hit of citrus and piney mix, near stinky and dank. Orange/amber color. Big citrus, then goes to some balance, and then a thick coating of dark, prickly bitterness. Medium-heavy body. 90 IBU, but doesnít seem overhopped. Tasty. A fair standard west coast IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours orange. head is there but light. Nose is grape fruit, lime, orange, pineapple, spicy citrus and some resinous hops. little malt aroma but i think it sort of blends in. Flavor is all of the hops mentioned with some bready sweet and toasted like malt flavors to back it up. Full body with a dry finish. medium light carbonation. Good brew.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Crisp, super hazy golden coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall just off-white head that leaves a nice, slightly soapy lace. Aroma of bright grapefruity and pine hop smells, some light sugars, a bunch of yeast, a good dose of malt and a nice sticky resin smell at the end. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy, herbal and piney hops show up front with a good malt backbone, some slight peach and apricot flavours and a smooth yeast and bready finish. Aftertaste has a smattering of hops with a great balance of malt and an assertive but not pungent or overpowering hop flavour. Overall, a very nice IPA with a solid flavour profile, a great balance and enough of the PNW hop style to be one of the better examples of an IPA that iíve had in a long while. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Portland (Pearl), Oregon on 27-April-2013 for US$3.99 sampled at home in Washington on 21-June-2013.
