4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle pours an orange brew with a white head. Scent is very hoppy with citrus and pine blending. Taste is pine, caramel and citrus. Everything I want in an IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Orange pour, white head. Citrus and resin hops dominate with a light malt backnote. This one packs a punch. Pretty dang nice.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The canned version. Another strong IPA offering from Oregon. Restrained with a load of hops to work through. Nice and vibrant.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Baileyís Taproom, pours a hazy golden with a small beige head. Aroma of piney and citrusy hops, and just enough crackery malts. Flavour is robustly hoppy, with loads of piney and resinous hops, and a moderate biscuit malt backbone that doesnít lend any flavour. Unadventurous, but remarkably well-made IPA. Great stuff.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle straight from Portland. Big aromas & flavors of citrusy, bitter, oily hops. Malt balance is there, but the hops really shine. Very fresh & bright tasting. Quite enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Shared with strykzone on Facebook Chat. This poured a gold to orange with big beige head and good lacing rings. Nose of hops with cirrus, pine, flowers, and light malts. Medium body. Resin in mouthfeel. Flavor is very hoppy and bitter, but a nice bitter. Dry bitter finish. Lot to like here.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Hayduke. We shared it via facebook chat. This poured with a bit of haze and was honey gold. A big golden tinted head is small bubbles and leaves nice lacing. The aroma is all hops. No malts are noticed. But there are malts tasted but it is definitely balanced toward the hops. Citrus with some pineapple. Malts are pale. Bitterness is rather high but not over powering. This is definitely a hop lovers beer, as advertised. Nice.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Beppe and Gianniís in Eugene, a very good and homey local Italian Restaurant.
Semi-clear orange body under one-finger quickly dissipating rocky white head with substantial lacing. A bit of biscuity malt in the nose with faint hops. Nice balance between sweetness and hops on the taste buds, more citrus than pine, a bit of grassiness. Active mouthfeel with good carbonation. A very enjoyable brew, so much so that I didnít drink wine with my meal.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Kind of a stale hoppy flavor. Typical North West IPA, not my favorite style, but perhaps this is one of the better ones.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Delicious and surprisingly bold IPA, yet it has an element of finesse. Opaque orange hue. Nice texture -- full and chewy, but itís kind of easy to quaff (assuming you love hoppy/bitter beers) and it finishes dry. Itís loaded with citrus -- grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest and rind -- from start to finish. Some pine and grass, too. Doughy-sweet up front; juicy in the middle; bitter in the finish; twangy in the aftertaste. A wonderful slap of hops.
