Orange pour, white head. Citrus and resin hops dominate with a light malt backnote. This one packs a punch. Pretty dang nice.

Can at home, 09/06/13, from Newport Ave Market, Bend. Clear golden with a moderate frothy white head. Nose is caramel malt, hops, touch of soap, juicy tropical notes. Taste comprises bitter grapefruit, hops, over ripened mango, light pine bite, caramel malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the finish. Solid enough IPA.

3fourths (7887) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 5, 2011
bottle. clear amber body, bright white head. sugared fruit pastry nose: dusting of yeast, flour, sugar and sweetened marmalade with a spiced mint undertone. bitter, zesty grapefruit flavor. strongly acidic and bitter with the puckering acidity and sourness of grapefruit juice. somewhat light bodied with a thin, drying finish. seems sweet but has considerable dryness. it’s an interesting and somewhat unique mixture of hop acid and bitterness with restrained malt sweetness. refreshingly different.

Bottle:   Hazy amber, large fluffy off-white head, very nice lacing.   Hop forward nose, slight funk and barnishness, albeit minor.   Citrus peel and hops up front, not real biting.   Backside has a touch of earth/soil that I attribute to organic like malts.   Not real bright, pretty easy for an IPA.   The finish gives me a bit of hard time, a little biting.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Yeah, the finish makes me salivate a little extra.   Meh... not bad, decent IPA, slightly above middle of the road.   Worth a try at least.

Pour is hazy orange yellow with thin white head thanks to Caleb! Aroma has notes of orange and tangerine oils, some slight grassy notes, hints of biscuit and caramel. Taste is a nice mix of orange and pine oils, hints of caramel, toffee notes, some crackery bread goes quickly into a nice bittering finish. Not the best combination of flavors, but very full of flavor and tasty.

22. Thanks nena! Pours a slightly hazy bronzed medium amber. Sugary juicy tangerine hop on the nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast tangerine and resin on the mid palate. Long sticky resiny finish.
