This seasonal IPA features 4 different hops with multiple flavors and aromas complimented with the addition of grapefruit peel. It creates a bouquet of citrus, peach and tropical fruits with enough Munich malt to produce a classic burnt orange color.

22 oz bottle from "Lifesource" in Salem OR $4.29 Pours a typical burnt orange IPA colour but with a great thick, tight, creamy off white head. Fruity/piney juicy hop aromas..pine,lemon zest, pink grapefruit and papaya..delicious. Taste is pretty much the same as the aroma but with a nice light caramel malt backing which holds it together somewhat. Good medium bodied palate..with medium high carbonation, very drinkable. Good IPA..liked it.

Bottle from Craft Beer Cellar, Waterbury. Pleasant citrus aroma. Citrus taste with an additional grapefruit bitterness on top of the hoppy bitterness. Nice.

12 fl. Oz. bottle from miorge-mihoublon, Arlon, Belgium. The aroma is a mixture of citrus grapefruit and sweet hops. The appearance is very pleasing with a nice copper colour. The taste starts with the freshness of citrus, followed by the fruitiness of grapefruit and ends with a nice hoppy note. The finish is quite dry and improves the quenching feeling of the beer.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a light hazy copper color with a one to two finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Slight stringy to semi-spider web lacing glazes around the glass. The smell starts off with a nice sweet grapefruit leading into a decent bitter pulp side and then the mangos and pineapple help to open it up just a tad more. Light peach and then a slight pine also come in to balance to sweet and slightly bitter. The taste is bitter with a good sweet trying to balance. Its there for the most part and helps to make this beer to really want to be a sessionable IPA. There’s a slight peach to grapefruit aftertaste and a slight dry to semi-wet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation feels like an AIPA and yet still lets the bitterness hit my tongue appropriately as an AIPA. Overall, AIPA or session IPA, I’ll take it. It feels, smells, and tastes great, I’d have this again.

Bottle (22oz $5): Clear golden orange, white head that disappeared. Aroma seems light fruit. Taste was citrus, but not necisaraily in a good way. Oramge peel bitterness. Pretty light on the carbonation. Not a favorite

Bottle: Bright golden color, small off-white head. No surprises in the way it smells… citrus, grapefruit, melon. Nice. Hop flavor is also on point; citrus, subtle florals, and melon. Light malt backbone. Hits the spot.

My Bottom Line:
This brightly floral and grapefruity IPA delivers exactly what it advertises, building a highly invigorating experience.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the clear pale amber.
-The grapefruit peel fits it perfectly with the hop bill, so much that it is difficult to identify clearly.
-The mild caramel backbone doesn’t get in the way of the fruity profile at all.
-Bitter hop resins are restrained for the style.
-Mouthfeel is lean and easygoing.

12 oz bottle. (By the Bottle) Vancouver, WA.
Clear orange colour with a small white head. Citrus, peach, pomelo, mild bitterness, cookies and malt The flavour is strong hops with grapefruit, citrus, resin, cookie sweetness, sweetish malt and some sugary notes. Citrusy, bitter and surprisingly sweet. A bit thin too.
