This seasonal IPA features 4 different hops with multiple flavors and aromas complimented with the addition of grapefruit peel. It creates a bouquet of citrus, peach and tropical fruits with enough Munich malt to produce a classic burnt orange color.

Great IPA flavor. The grapefruit peel is not as pronounced, but I kind of think that is a good thing. 3.0/5.0.

Hazy copper pour with nice white head. Big nose of grapefruit and orange zest. Flavor is much the same with touch of spice and malt.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a clear orange-gold color with a medium thick off-white head that dissipates gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, grassy hops and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bottle from Pi-Bar. Noticeable grapefruit in a really bitter beer. Some other citric aromas, but the rest disappears in strong and crisp carbonation and the super bitter dryness. Well done though, this works.

12 oz bottle pours light orange with a white foamy head. Aroma of grapefruit and floral hops. Taste is bitter like a grapefruit with some bread like malt backbone. Nicely balanced IPA.

On nitro tap at the brewpub in Eugene, Oregon. Clear amber body with an excellent, creamy off=white head. Sheets of lacing on the glass. Overly earthy aroma with hints of pine and citrus. Earthy, piney and fruity hops dominate. Smooth, medium-light body and medium carbonation.

Bomber from a grocery store near our hotel in Seattle. Darker orange pour. Citrus / tropical fruit aroma. Sharp hop bite with a balanced finish. Solid.

18$ 22 oz bottle from AT & T Park in SF. Amber pour. Grapefruit pine aroma. Grapefruit pine and darker slightly sweet malt flavor.

Pine, citrus peel, grass in the nose. A bit washed out. Copper with small head. Smooth, medium body. Taste mostly bitter pine hops. Not much on the palate. An ok ipa.

Pour is amber orange, a little darker than expected; white head. Nose is dominated by citrus flavors and bitter peel. Taste is bitter grapefruit, balanced with biscuit and caramel malt. Very dry bitter finish. Thin in body for this ABV. A maltier version of the Sculpin, but less successful. Still enjoyable.

From the 650 ml. bottle. The pour is is an obvious orange color with a modest short-lasting head. The aroma has a decent citrus quality to it and a touch of floral and herbal notes. Medium to full body. The taste has the same citrus and maybe fruity note with a slightly lingering bitterness.
