COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This golden colored ale pours with a rich white head. A touch of wheat malt and a mixture of Cascade and Willamette hops ives this easy-going blonde a crisp, refreshing finish.

Pretty mediocre. Clear dark yellow-gold. Tastes like a very light and thin wheat beer. Thin head. Fizzy. Not memorable.

Slightly floral hop note atop a decent blonde ale (whatever that’s worth). Not bad, but one note - and a one timer for me.

(Hop Valley Double D Blonde) Can 355 ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 5% Golden yellow colour on the body with lots of activity in it. Thinnest of heads, with low retention too. Very faint aroma, after some sniffing I managed to get some citrus and maybe some tangerine but it’s not the strongest smelling beer out there, that’s for sure. Taste is a bit better or at least more intense. Malts, wheat, light citrus, light floral notes, lemon zest. Medium thin body, okay carbonation. Much less than I expected.

355ml can at home. Somewhat pale golden with a medium white soapy head. Light to medium body with low to moderate carbonation. Subtle sweet and bitter tones. Citrus, caramel, tropical fruits and some hops. An ok blonde, not too special.

12 oz can @ home. Been sitting in the fridge for a while, so not at its freshest. Slighty hazy, golden blonde color. White head with short retention. Aroma’s: Light malt & grain, light fruit. More so retronasal, a bit stale. Flavor is rather neutral, a bit stale/dusty, light sweet, grainish. Light bodied. Finish is short, slightly dry, a bit grainish, moderate bitter. Should retry with a fresher can/bottle.

12oz can, Geers. Floury, almost doughy nose, some lemongrass and citroenjenever. Immediate refreshing Cascade in taste, Anchor Liberty style, mild and pleasant near-wheat ale flavours else: lemongrass broth, some tangerine. Unpresuming unlike its name would suggest (grabbed this too quick confounding it for a DIPA).
