3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice and hoppy. Nothing new, but still good. A decent alcohol content, and it’s always nice to try something new from Hop Valley.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, shared with the brewery crew. Pours a medium golden hue, lasting white head. Tropical fruit and pine, nicely attenuated malts (much preferable over the golden syrup sweetness of the Alphadelic), long bitter finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
15cl sample at the Ghent Beer Festival VI (22 VIII 2015). A not too pungent indian pale ale. This Hop Valley IPA has a fruity character for sure, coming from the different hop varieties. But the nose is dominated by dust. The taste also has pine wood and hay flavours. This IPA is described as a complex beer, yes maybe, yet it seems to me as neither fish nor flesh.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a hazy amber color with a almost no head. Aroma is hoppy and citrussy. Flavors again of citrus, fruity, herbs and spices. Bitter, sweet and badly balance. After a short while it becomes unpleasant and not really nice. Once but not twice.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled, 355ml from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham, Gloucs. Hazy Orange amber with white head. There is a crisp, malty body to this, with a bitter-sweetness, some pleasing toasty notes. From this there is a full, refreshing hoppy flavour, tropical fruits along with a cleaning citrus note. Lasting palate and refreshing throughout. Pretty decent.

Hazy amber with a big white head. Citrus hops aroma. Taste is bittersweet with a short sweetish finish. Body is a bit thin. Still good though, nice multilayered IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has an earthy pine note with a bit of bitter citrus and a straw backbone. Flavor has earthy dry citrus with a bit of grass and straw notes supporting.
