A good enough Wheat beer, it came with a wedge of lemon. Too bad at this point I had started with the darker heavier stuff and was moving in the wrong direction if I wanted to really enjoy the flavors.

On tap at the brewery over a month ago.Pours straw gold with a quickly disappearing white head. Smells of lemon, but that’s probably from the slice on the taster glass, and wheat. Tastes of wheat and clove, not much banana or bubblegum. Refreshing

Hop Valley Brewing – Springfield, OR
Dark golden in color, hazy and with a big grapefruit nose. Lots of clove and banana in the flavor the malt was thick and the hops gave off a light fruit flavor.

On tap at the brewpub. Not very good. had an odd flavor, very acidic. My least favorite out of the sampler.

This might actually be the worst Hefe I’ve ever had, and for me that’s really saying something. Piss yellow in color, it both smelled and tasted like burnt hair. Something might have been off with the batch, but this stuff was nasty.
