Vanilla beans are added to the conditioning tank in this robust porter, giving the bittersweet chocolate notes a well rounded finish. Style; Vanilla Infused Porter

Bottled @ de Molen tasting, small sample. Dark brown color, short off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, slight chocolate and mocha, slight hint of vanilla. Medium sweet in taste, with more vanilla present. Slight dry and bitter as well. I was expecting much more vanilla, but its almost non-present in aroma and more present in flavor, but all quite subtle. Felt more like a dry stout than a porter, with some vanilla added. Not bad, a bit weak perhaps.

Bottle at the De Molen second Tuesday tasting August 2014. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, creamy caramel. The flavour is medium bitter, light sweet with a light watery malt liqourice bitter, vanilla, light hop spice palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Pleasent beer, like a beerish ice coffee with lots of vanilla. Has some notes of milk chocolate as well, but mostly coffee vanilla that has a surprising bitter aftertaste. Good beer.

Pours a light brown with a thick, lasting head. Aroma is very pronounced vanilla and some dark Malts. Taste is a balanced porter with a good hop bite to keep the sweet malt from over powering. The vanilla is present from beginning to end and is very pleasant. Delicious porter that easily made it into my order a second list.
