3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A good vanilla porter, but a little thin in taste. Pours a deep brown-black with a tan head. Smells of vanilla, coffee, cinnamon and oak. Taste starts off slow, again, a bit thin, but the vanilla and oak opens up in the finish. Had in the bottle.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - opaque black with a nice crema head.
Nose - dark chocolate and burnt toffee.
Taste - the burnt toffee leads in and the chocolate is very dry or bittersweet as the description on the bottle suggests.
Palate - medium bodied with a creamy but very dry texture and a long dry finish.
Overall - I’m struggling to get much vanilla.

Bottle. Dark brown color with nice head. Aroma not so strong, a bit of coffee and roastiness. However in taste there is definitely a lot of vanilla, chocolate and roast. In general very good beer with pleasant vanilla note.
