Tap. Brown with white head. Smells nutty, vanilla, chocolate. Tastes chocolate, vanilla, nutty, nice body for a porter. Pretty good.

A good porter, nice chocolate body with lots of tasty roast malts. Smells very much of vanilla, and has a great head, but not so much in the taste.

This is a darkish beer with a light tan head. It has a light roast, malt aroma with a nice vanilla. You can really taste the vanilla and malt flavor along with a light caramel. It is really a nice pairing, slightly sweet, vanilla and light bitter flavor.

Bottle:   Deep brown, moderate frothy light beige head, nice lacing.   Roasty nose.   A little ash and campfire, but not really getting much Vanilla.   Ah, there we go... the Vanilla comes out on the tongue.   Roasted malts are there, but are light.   Vanilla isnt too strong, but hefty enough that you cannot miss it.   Smooth overall, but the body could use a little more malt backing.   The roastiness comes back at the finish.   Decent beer, the Vanilla isn’t too soft, nor does it make it a mess (as some others I have had), but I really wished this one was a bit more chewy.   Otherwise pretty interesting.

One of the best flavors of beer I have had so far. Vanilla and Porter, mmmm, a perfect pair, smooth and bitter at the same time.

Bomber served in an English pint. Dark brown color with amber hues and a medium sized light-brown head. Good retention and excellent lacing. Aroma has B-I-G vanilla, coffee, and roast. Maybe some floral hops as well. Medium sweet, roasty and light bitter flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation, creamy texture. The hops show up in a big way, along with the roast, in the long finish.

Bottle. Black pour with thin ecru head. Much lacing. Balanced aroma of vanilla and chocolate. Full bodied with cocoa and vanilla, rather too much vanilla. Vanilla and coffee finish

On tap at the brewery over a month ago. Smells delicious, of coffee, chocolate, vanilla and oak. Tastes of melted chocolate, nutty malts and flat cola.
