Vanilla beans are added to the conditioning tank in this robust porter, giving the bittersweet chocolate notes a well rounded finish. Style; Vanilla Infused Porter

I just didn’t get it. Vanilla was very subtle, it was overly carbonated. It did have some coffee like astringency that some porters have... Just not that good.

dark brown almost black color, no light getting through Aroma is sweet, malty, vanilla and chocolate, Taste is vanilla and chocolate sweetness balanced by the roastiness of a coffee. Nice Porter.

Bottle shared with Erwin Van Moll and Stefan @ Van Moll Brewpub. Red brown color, red glare coming through, medium sized off-white to beige head that leaves fair to good lacing. Aroma has strong vanilla, slightly roast and some malts. Taste lightly malts, vanilla, fortunately not that much that it becomes (Dutch) "hopjesvla" flavored. Body is average to medium, carbonation suits the beer. Quite well balanced.

22 oz bottle pour. Pours a near black color with no head. Sweet malt and vanilla aroma. Nice roasted flavor to this. Not as much vanilla as expected, but that is a positive for me. I enjoy vanilla, but not as the main feature. A little sweet but overall this is pretty good. Enjoyed it a bunch.

Dark pour, light tan head. Roasty, almost smoky aroma; to my surprise and pleasure the vanilla is not over the top, or even up in your face. It’s quite subtle, in fact. what you get is a nice drinkable porter that concentrates more on the roast than fruit, hints of sweetness without being overly sweet. Pretty good.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours very dark brown with a slight beige head. Milk chocolate aroma. Maybe some vanilla. Med body. Flavor is bitter chocolate with some vanilla. Gets a little earthy. Not sure about coffee. It’s bitter, but chocolate? coffee? hop? Can’t tell. Finishes well towards dry.
