Great beer, very smooth for a Porter Ale. Good with about everything. Can even use it as a vanilla float. Great aroma and appearance with a smooth taste. Overall a very good Porter.

Pretty much the best local beer Iíve had in Eugene. I canít think of a more refreshing dark beer in my area. The aroma is very mild, hints of coffee, roasted charcoal and sugar. Very smooth and thin moutfeel that glides like silk. The flavor is what sold me. The vanilla is up front and honest, it isnít a background flavor but something up front and pleasant. I recommend this one.

One of the best flavors of beer I have had so far. Vanilla and Porter, mmmm, a perfect pair, smooth and bitter at the same time.

Bottle, 0.65l, shared with Hoppiness crew. Pours dark brown with medium soapy tan-like head and good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla, white coffee and caramel. Tastes starts with moderate sweet roasted malt, follows by smooth and milky vanilla with caramel note, mouthfeel is silky, while finish is light bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Excellent dessert beer...

Pours a black beer with a medium beige fine head. Smells vanilla, chocolate, yeasty. The vanilla also gives an oaky touch. Tastes sweet and bitter. Leaves a gentle palate where the vanilla dominates. The taste is non alcoholic and has a full palate. Carbonation is low. Great balanced beer!

50cl bottle shared at home. Somewhat hazy dark brown with a medium off-white head. Light to medium body with low to moderate carbonation. Medium sweetness with subtle bitter tones. Chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts and brown sugar. Great brew!

clear dark brown, big light brown frothy head. Good lacing. Nicely roasted coffee, vanilla, lightly medicinal herbs. Lots of milk chocolate, coffee, medium body, dry, soft, medium long finish. Well balanced, good enjoyable flavors, looks good also. Not that complex but well-done.

65cl bottle, served in Duvel glass. Dark brown colour with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, licorice and hints of smoke. Same flavours, but even more tasty than expected. The aftertaste is pretty much like milk chocolate despite the vanilla, with pleasant roasty notes. Full body, good carbonation. A very well balanced beer, highly recommended as a dessert one.
