harrisoni (5605), Ashford, Kent, England Feb 10, 2006 Cask gravity at Dover Beer Festival 2006. Beer of the festival for me. Deep brown with lasting beige head. Lovely hop on this with good malt base. Hops are excellent and fresh
PhilL (100), Bedfordshire, England Apr 17, 2007 Typical Prins hop nose, bright and grreeeeeen... an aroma that I have come to love! One of tonies better brews. Wish he bottled this one! SilkTork (3959), Rochester, Kent, England Apr 3, 2006 Dover Beer Fest. Lily soaked, dark, tingly, pleasant & serious beer. Clean and very tasty. chriso (4434), London, Greater London, England Mar 25, 2006 Updated: Apr 18, 2006Cask (gravity dispense) at White Cliffs Beer Festival, February 2006. Bright, mid copper colour. The hops are the thing here. And very fine hops they are too. Tangy, spicy, grassy and earthy with some citric/grapefruit edges. And there’s enough underlying berry fruit and dry malt to provide balance and prevent it getting too one-dimensional. Very nicely put together. Unfortunately its only an occasional brew.
kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia Mar 1, 2006 Cask @ Dover Festival 06: Nice stinky hop pellet nose. Grassy balanced with nice clean malts. Tasty MrWalker (928), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 14, 2006 Cask @ 13th White Cliffs BF, Dover. 3 February, 2006
Extreamly hoppy for an English ale. Quite fruity as a fruitcake. Fruits and some flowers going everywhere in an unfocused caledioscope. Either you like it or not, I believe. I like.
