Bottle from Berts Bierhuis. Clear golden colour, white head. Nose is soft caramel malts, grassy. Flavour is light malty, hoppy, bit of citrus, bit buttery. Sweet and slightly bitter finish.

Dec 2012 - bottle in Franco Manca. Taste is somewhere between a pale ale and a lager, not a lot of bitterness but a bit floral. Was average to poor overall really. With a name like that, it should have delivered more.

Bottle at Franco Marca in Brixton. Golden colour, quite fizzy, head vanishes. Unusual beer, very hoppy for a lager (on the menu as pale ale!!?) Sweetish citrus hops, maybe pineapple. Lacks a bit of depth, finish is very brief. Nice enough for a change.

Sample at ÖÖWF 2012. Light hoppy and fruity smell with something reminding me of earth cellar in the background. Crisp taste with a strong bitterness. Pale bread malty body.

Cask at SBWF. Clear pale golden. Fruity, grassy nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel.- Mostly fruity with notes of butter and grass. Mid bitter finish.

Olde White Swan, York. Cask conditioned. As Green Daemon. Medium white head. Gold body. Nose is citrus, lots of white sherbet. Bitter. Bitter finish.

Handpull at The blackfriar. Slightly hazy gold, long-lasting foamy offwhite head. Mildly pungent grassy aroma, zesty, a hint of spicy funk - taste follows, delivers more grassy bitterness, a bit catty and lemony too. Light and lively, delicate on the tongue, disappears off the palate too soon, but certainly easy to drink.

A glass of really thin mango juicy. Little to no bitter and light sweet and sour...not great.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico - 09/08/12.
Slightly hazy blonde. Good half finger of whie head. Muted hops and citrus on the nose - not a big aroma to this one. Slightly grassy and citrus flavour - a little on the bland side. Good medium body and feel with a sweetish finish.
