Bottle @ Rocca, South Ken. The pour’s gold with a medium white head. The nose is paper, some apples. General sugary sweetness. Somewhat skunky. The aromas suggest I’m in for a faded beer. The taste confirms it: cardboard, general skunkiness. A bit of grain, sweet pear juice. Light body, fizzy carbonation. Overall, a shame. I’ll try to seek a fresh sample out on cask.
